1
Day 1 – Venice: Arrival
Upon arrival at Venice Airport, you will be met by your private English speaking assistant and private water taxi for a direct transfer to your boutique hotel: Ca’ Maria Adele 4****. We will book 1 Double Concept Room. Check in at the hotel and time to relax.

Day 2 – Venice: Walking Tour & Private Gondola Ride with Cicchetti Tasting
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be met by your private English-speaking guide and start the perfect tour for those who want to discover the history of Venice starting from the most important site in the city: Saint Mark’s Square. Together with your guide, you will explore a wealth of hidden sights not normally granted to visitors of this spectacular city. Allow yourselves to be soothed by the magical imperfection of the Venetian streets and cast under the spell of its evocative atmosphere. You will visit also St. Mark's Basilica inside, the Piazza and its main monuments: Doge’s Palace (outside), Bridge of Sighs, Clock Tower and the Bell Tower. After this historical tour, your guide will accompany you to the meeting point with your gondolier: we will reserve just for you a unique Gondola Ride with food experience. The tour will start in Rio di San Polo and from here, you will explore the jewels of the undiscovered corners, with its numerous Palazzi and homes belonging to the Venetian aristocracy, built in various architectural styles. During this pleasant ride, you will have a quick stop in front of a typical “Bacaro” and your waiter will give you a bottle of Prosecco with Cicchetti (classical Venetian appetizers) made with the best ingredients in the city accompanied by some well-known local wines. You can savor them whilst sailing down the hidden canals of Venice as you enjoy the magical views and perspectives which only a gondola can give you. After the tour, you will have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3 – Venice to Florence
After breakfast and check out from your hotel, meet your private English speaking driver with private water taxi for a direct transfer to the Venice railway station. Here, you will take your high-speed train to Florence. Upon arrival, you will be met by your private English speaking driver who will transfer you to your centrally located hotel: Hotel Brunelleschi 4****. We will book 1 Double Deluxe Room. Check in at the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4 – Florence: Walking Tour with Food tour & Accademia Gallery
Breakfast at your hotel and meet your private English speaking guide in the hotel lobby and start your walking tour of Florence. You will have the opportunity to observe close up the priceless Duomo with the famous dome done by Brunelleschi, the largest brick dome in the world, stretching protectively over the Florentine Cathedral. You will also see its splendid bell tower: the famous Campanile of Giotto. Next stop will be the political center of the city that will open its doors to us , offering you the chance to visit Palazzo della Signoria, also known as Palazzo Vecchio home to the Medici family and seat of the secularists' power, today seat of the municipality, as well as the oldest "piazza" (square) in Florence, Piazza della Repubblica, built on top of Ancient Roman ruins of the original Roman Forum, today the square is surrounded by historic cultural cafès, where young intellectual Florentines have always liked to gather. Your walking tour will then lead you to the nearby San Lorenzo Market, where you will have a taste of Tuscany’s “green gold”, its renowned olive oil, as well as a variety of cheeses, salami and prosciutto, truffle sauces and balsamic vinegar. You will have also a wine tasting and enjoy some of the region’s finest wines. Still not full yet? Next stop will be at a local “fiaschetteria” where you will have a tasting of some of the city’s traditional recipes. The tour will end in grand style with one of the finest gelato’s of the city where you can pick your flavor made, as always, with genuine and fresh products. After this culinary experience, discover the Accademia Gallery Museum where the most symbolic work of Michelangelo is housed: Il David, an expression of beauty and physical perfection. You will admire also other sculptures by Michelangelo and the original plaster cast of: “Il Ratto delle Sabine” by Giambologna (The Rape of the Sabine Women), discover why and how all artists made life size plaster casts before the actual sculpture, except for Michelangelo. Enjoy the incredible collection of Renaissance paintings , including “La Madonna ed il Bambino” (Madonna and Child) and “la Madonna del Mare” (Madonna of the Sea) by Botticelli. End of the tour and free afternoon at leisure.

Day 5 – Florence: Cheese Experience in Pienza & Wine Tour in Montepulciano
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be met by your private English speaking driver for a unique day! First of all, you will visit the charming village of Pienza, a small town in the center of Tuscany. It has been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site for its artistic beauty and historical importance. This town is completely done in Renaissance style, built by order of the Pope Pio II – Enea Silvio Piccolomini – who decided to transform his small home town into a beautiful place for him and his court to be protected and relaxed near the water risings of Valdorcia. Pienza is also the capital city of the “Pecorino” – sheep cheese, which every year, on the second Sunday of September, the “Fiera del Cacio” or the Festival of the local sheep cheese is held. The milk is particularly aromatic because of the configuration of the clayey terrain that is scattered with aromatic herbs where the sheep all graze freely, producing a perfumed milk and cheese. Pienza Pecorino cheese has the D.O.P. European label (which means a Protected Origin Denomination). Here, you will have a private visit with lunch and tasting of its Aged Pecorino cheese. After lunch, you will meet up again with your private driver and he will accompany you to Montepulciano. He will take you to one of the most famous wineries in the region, home to the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano (meticulously produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes: those that the Tuscans define as “the true table wine”). Here, you will visit the estate vineyards that reflect the importance of the terrain. Then, you will go to the ageing cellars and the Vinsantaia, ending with a tasting of four different wines. End of the tour and transfer back to your hotel in Florence, the rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 6 – Florence to Positano
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, meet your private English speaking driver for a transfer to the railway station to get your fast train to Naples. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your English speaking driver and transfer to Positano, directly to your Hotel: Hotel Buca di Bacco 4****. We will book: 1 Double Superior Room with Sea View & Terrace. Check in and rest of the of the day at leisure.

Day 7 – Positano: Private Boat tour of the Amalfi Coast
Today, you will spend a great day exploring the Amalfi coast, from a different perspective: from the sea! You will make your way the harbor, on your own and meet your private English speaking skipper and enjoy a full day tour of the Amalfi coast, you will discover one of the most beautiful and famous Coasts in the world enjoying the entire itinerary boating by the wonderful beaches of Nerano and Li Galli Island, Laurito, Fornillo, Crapolla, Recommone, and Arienzo. In Amalfi, you can have some free time at leisure to visit this tiny picturesque village and go shopping in the little typical streets. On your boat you will have included drinks (water, beer, coca cola, prosecco wine, limocello) and snacks (Classic Panino with fresh tomato, mozzarella and basil). After the tour, the rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 8 – Positano: Cooking Class with lunch
Today you will spend a pleasant and exciting day in the countryside of Sorrento (approximately 10 km away) for a special gourmand experience. Silence and beauty are the two main words which describe this farmhouse holiday spot in Sorrento. A true farmhouse where products from the vegetable garden are cultivated by the local farmers and brought fresh to the table. Those who wish to participate in farm activities like this are more than welcome. A small hill immersed between sea and land where days go by slowly and you can completely forget the noisy city chaos. In this farmhouse, you truly find the hidden side of the Amalfi Coast, made of strong citrus plant aromas, small winding paths through the beautiful landscape that lead you straight to the beach, experiencing it all at a slow and easy farmhouse pace. After breakfast, meet your private English speaking driver at your hotel and transfer to your heavenly location for a cooking class. Upon your arrival, you will visit the farmhouse and the kitchen and then, together with your personal English speaking chef-guide, you will pick the vegetables straight from the garden: with these ingredients, you will create a typical menu. The chef will show you how to create tasty pasta dishes, incorporating her own special recipes. You will learn the tricks of the trade of traditional Italian Cuisine during your 4 hour cooking class, in a relaxing, friendly and warm atmosphere where you can taste the various recipes and enjoy some of the best local wine, while sitting outdoors on the terrace. Remember once back home you will be able to cook these Italian meals for your family and friends! After lunch, your driver will transfer you back to your hotel and you will have free time at leisure.

Day 9 – Positano to Rome & Unique Dinner with Rome by Night Tour
Breakfast at your hotel and check out. Meet your private English speaking driver for a direct transfer to Naples railway station, where you will take a high-speed train to Rome, approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your private English speaking driver for a direct transfer to your boutique hotel: Hotel Campo De’ Fiori 4****. We will book 1 Top Floor Terrace Room. Check in and time to relax. In the evening, you will meet your private English speaking driver and reach the restaurant we have selected for you: Restaurant Imagò. Entering Imàgo, the Hassler’s 6th floor panoramic Michelin Starred Restaurant in Rome with its unique view over the city, is to be greeted by a beautiful life-size painting that fills each window of this spectacular location. Soft music, elegant marble floors with an antique-wooden inlay, and the romantic play of light reflecting on the mirrored tables, all conspire to create a magical atmosphere, a sense of being in another time and space in a restaurant steeped in memorable history. We will reserve for you a Tasting Menù, which will be a Gourmand Experience. After dinner your driver will be waiting for you, to delight you with stories and legends of the most famous Roman monuments. You will be able to admire, photograph and learn about their incomparable history by moonlight: this is a unique experience that Dragonfly Tours has reserved exclusively for you. Day 10 – Rome: Vatican Museums & Ancient Rome with lunch
After breakfast at your hotel, your English speaking driver and guide will be waiting for you for a direct transfer to the Vatican Museums. Here you will enjoy a guided tour including the Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter’s Basilica. Once there, your specialist guide will introduce you to the masterpieces of such great painters as Raphael, Michelangelo. This is one of the greatest art collections ever, a collection gathered through the centuries by the Popes. You will see the wonderful Cortile della Pigna ( " Pinecone Courtyard" ), followed by one of the finest collections of antique Greek and Roman statues in the world, then visit the celebrated Rooms of Raphael, 500 years old. Be enchanted by the stunning vision of the Sistine Chapel and also direct access into Saint Peter's Basilica; a sacred place designed and executed by some of the greatest architects of the XVI century, from Bramante to Michelangelo and from Raphael to Bernini. End of the tour, you will meet up again with your private driver for a transfer to your restaurant. Here, you will sample a menu carefully selected by the chef and comprising several dishes prepared with the freshest ingredients of the traditional Italian cuisine. After lunch, you will be met by your private English speaking guide and walk to the Ancient part of the Eternal city: Colosseum and Roman Forum. You will then be accompanied to the nearby Roman Forum, known as the "heart" of ancient Rome, and the commercial, political and religious center. Day 11 – Rome: Highlights & Gourmand Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your private English speaking guide for an amazing walking tour. It will combine Rome highlights and food tasting according also to client’s taste and availability of shops: you will start with an excellent Italian expresso coffee in the best coffee shop in Rome and as you walk through the districts you can taste: a selection of salamis, the best mozzarella and burrata, the famous Jewish style artichokes, the super suppli (a Roman specialty deep fried rice balls rolled with Bolognaise sauce!) and last but not the least if you still have room a Roman style pasta, like Cacio e pepe or Amatriciana. Together with your guide, you will admire all the beautiful fountains and street markets on the way, outstanding palaces and little boutiques of artisan traditional Italian food, unique architecture while breathing in the freshly baked white pizza. Enjoy master piece paintings by famous artists located inside Churches that only Rome can offer, and then the best Gelato! While tasting the typical Roman specialties, you will learn about the culinary traditions walking through some beautiful famous piazzas and visit some off the beaten track charming districts, less known but not less important, discovering why food plays such a great role in Italy. For wine lovers we can also combine a wine tasting!! End of the tour and rest of the day at leisure.
