Venice is interesting not only for the eyes, but also for the ears. With this itinerary, you will discover the history of music in Venice from the XVI to the XX centuries

This tour follows a path that runs from San Samuele to the Scuola di San Marco, passing by the Chiesa della Pietà (transfer can be arranged).  A short distance away you will come upon Teatro La Fenice, the famous theater that was destroyed and reconstructed many times over the centuries. This remarkable building has housed many musicians of great caliber, including Woody Allen in 2010, a great lover of this city with his New Orleans Jazz Band.Your guide will explain how many musicians throughout the centuries were inspired by the unique charm of this city on water, and how their music has also influenced the character of the city.Music has always accompanied Venetian painting as an artistic medium of expression, and from the 18th century visitors who came to Venice wrote about a place where they were enveloped by music that was inspiring. At the end of your tour, you will be accompanied to a restaurant chosen by us right in the center of Venice, between the famous Saint Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge, where you will conclude this marvelous experience with a delicious meal. Please note: transfer to and from your accommodation can be arranged upon request.
