Day 1 - Rome/Sorrento

Arrival at Fiumicino airport , meet your private English speaking driver and transfer to the Amalfi Coast in Sorrento. Arrival at you centrally located B&B, it is situated in an old 18th century palace, now completely restored, offers visitors all kinds of gastronomical specialties typical of a tavern, and also offers rooms in order for you to experience the culture and ambience of the historical center of Sorrento, we reserve exclusively for you the only Suite they have, The Imperial Suite is the biggest and more elegant room with an ancient frescos recently renovated: check in and time to relax. You will have the rest of day at your full disposal for relaxing in you Aromatherapy shower and/or to enjoy the beautiful Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento.

Day 2 - Sorrento / Capri on a private boat

Breakfast in hotel. On this day, you will have the chance to enjoy the splendid sea surrounding the strip of land that is the Sorrentina Peninsola and discover the secrets of the Island of Capri with a special tour that will be done on board on a private boat reserved only for you. After breakfast Get on your own to the port of Sorrento where you will meet your private English speaking Skipper that will transfer you to Capri. After a pleasurable boat ride (30 minutes approx), during which you are able to breathe in the healthy brackish sea water while admiring the gorgeous Sorrento Coast, you will arrive at Capri's western coast. From this point, your boat tour begins with visits to the Grotta Bianca, L'Arco Naturale and the Faraglioni. Continuing your boat ride, you will arrive at the Grotta del Marinaio for a swim and the chance to snorkel.

Afterward, you will continue on toward Marina Piccola where you will disembark for a 3 hour visit of the island. Here, you can visit the interior of the island as you please and choose to have lunch in one of the many local restaurants that the island offers. Later, you will again depart by boat to visit the Grotta Verde and the famous Grotta Azzurra: this grotto can be seen only in a rowboat, so as to render the experience even more evocative. Entrance into the Grotta, with its particular beauty, is always subject to excellent weather conditions. The cost of the entrance ( Euro 12,50 per person) has to be paid on the spot, directly to the staff of the rowing boats. Your return to Sorrento is planned for 5:00 pm and will be pleasurable as ever: you can relax and rejoice over all the natural beauty that you visited. At the port, you will meet your driver, who will accompany you back to your hotel, where you will have plenty of time to relax before dinner served in the hotel. Overnight in Sorrento.

Day 3 - Sorrento/Pompeii with private guide and luxury car

Breakfast at the B&B. Meet your personal driver with private car for an excursion to Pompei. The town that was buried in 79AD under the ashes of one of the biggest volcanic eruptions of all time. Once there you will meet your private guide at the entrance of the preserved city and you will have the opportunity to explore the ruins of the ancient Roman Empire. No waiting line ticket is reserved for you. Back to Sorrento and rest of the day at leisure. Dinner at the B&B. Overnight in Sorrento.

Day 4 - Sorrento: Cheese Making and Limoncello tasting in Sorrento with tasting of local cheese and wine

After breakfast meet at your B&B the owner of the cheese factory that will escort you to one of the oldest Cheese factory of the Peninsula Sorrentina. It is a family run cheese factory: here, during the day you will discover all the secret how they make the Fresh Mozzarella every day since 1940. You will enjoy: - how they produce the best cheeses Sorrento has to offer. - practical demonstration of how they create mozzarella from the simple cow’s milk - final tasting of all own specialties in their welcoming tasting room : mozzarella, caciocavallo, provolone del monaco and caciotta. At the end of the tasting with the driver and the guide transfer to a the lemon grove, with elucidations about the typical “Sfusato Amalfitano” lemon. You will discover how they made Limoncello every day and everything about the production steps. The tour will ends with the limoncello and the typical local liqueurs tasting. Meet the driver that will transfer you back to the hotel in Sorrento.

Day 5 - Sorrento, Sorrento/Free Day

Breakfast at the B&B and free time to enjoy the beaches or the shops in the city center. Dinner at the B&B. Overnight in Sorrento.

Day 6 - from Sorrento to Assisi/ hd private tour in Assisi

Today you depart for Assisi with your private driver, arrival at the hotel Giotto 4**** Situated in the historical district, this romantic hotel is close to Roman Temple of Minerva , and Cathedral of San Rufino. Also nearby there are the Basilica of Santa Chiara and Papal Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. In the Afternoon meet your private English speaking guide at the hotel for a Visit to Assisi St. Francis that is perhaps the most well loved saint in the country of Italy and perhaps in the world. His birthplace, Assisi, is one of the most beautiful cities to visit on your trip to Italy. you will first visit the St. Maria degli Angeli church (located in the town by the same name, Santa Maria degli Angeli), which is respected as the place of St. Francis' death. Inside the grand Baroque basilica are two small structures: the Capella del Transito and the Porziuncola. The Cappella del Transito is the small room in which St. Francis died on October 3, 1226. Above the small altar in a glass case is the rope belt of St. Francis. We will then visit the Basilica of St. Francis, which consists of an upper level and a lower level, known as the upper church and the lower church. It is also in this Basilica that St. Francis is interred. The churches are decorated with many beautiful frescoes by late medieval painters including Cimabue, Giotto di Bondone, Simone Martini and Pietro Lorenzetti. The basilica was begun immediately after St. Francis’ canonization in 1228. After the tour free time for relax and dinner at your leisure.

Day 7 - Full day gourmet experience: Cooking class, Choccolate experience and wine visit and tasting 

Umbria is world famous for its wines and for its chocolates. So we have designed this full day for food and wine lovers. Meet the driver at the hotel at 9,00am and transfer to Perugia (15 minutes by car) The day will begin with the private Cooking Class at 9.30 a.m., in the class you will prepare the four-course meal you will enjoy after the three hour lesson. (of course including the FRESH PASTA!!!)The class enables you to learn more about Italian cuisine and to develop new skills to replicate classic Umbrian cooking at home. The excursion in the afternoon includes a "sweet" visit to the historical Perugina Chocolate Museum and wine tour where you´ll taste reds, whites, sparklers and sweeties wines.

•9:30 Arrive in the country farm in Perugia. Begin instruction, highlighting the history of Umbria cooking and presenting the day's menu. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves for hands-on preparation of a glorious meal.

•13:00 Enjoy the fruits of your work! Eat the foods that you just created complemented by our wine and extra virgin olive oil.

•14.30: The tour take place from 14.00 to 18.00. You will visit the Perugia’s chocolate factory and the Chocolate Museum to learn about chocolate production. The "House of Chocolate" includes a chance to see the Perugina chocolate factory in operation, as well as a visit to the Museo Storico (Historic Museum). The museum explains the process of converting cocoa into chocolate, and introduces the history of the Perugina chocolate company. You will have a wine tour in a Winemakers Company near Perugia. It is a vineyard under family management, which with special care from their very own vines, produces D.O.C. Colli Perugini and IGT from Umbria white, red and rosè wines. You will have a guided tour of the vineyard and the Winery itself, finishing up with a wine tasting together with some sampling of local Umbrian specialties. At the end of the tour a private driver will transfer you back to the hotel in Assisi.

Day 8 - private transfer from Assisi to Radda in Chianti 

Meet & greet private transfer from the hotel in Assisi to the hotel in Radda in Chianti for 2 people Arrival at the luxury country House “Livernano” in Radda in Chianti right in the hearth of Chianti area. Livernano is a truly ancient place. It was first inhabited by Etruscans, whose culture reached its high-point in Tuscany over 2500 years ago, around 500BC Rooms at Livernano :The Tuscan style lends many of its features to the Mediterranean style: the use of stone, the same Roman arched windows and doors, and even more warm colored roofs and homes are distinctive to this style. Three houses of the hamlet have been completely redesigned to accommodate guests in an atmosphere of understated luxury. All rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished with fine, local antiques and en-suite marble bathrooms. They all feature stereos, telephones, Wi-fi, Air conditioning and mini-bars. Guests can also enjoy our beautiful landscaped swimming pool and authentic four-course dinners prepared by his local chef. Set among green hills in the Tuscan countryside, the hotel is a 40-minute drive from Siena. Free time for relaxing and welcome dinner at the relais.

Day 9 - private wine tasting in the Chianti area including light lunch 

There is a place in Tuscany that is synonymous with wines of excellence; this place is Chianti. Along with its "nectar of the Gods,” the Chianti region hills provide a spectacular view of pristine nature. You will meet your personal driver at your Hotel in Florence. Private transfer with your private luxury minibus to Volpaia where you will be immersed in the extraordinary natural treasures of the earth: olive oil and wine, and learn of their traditional manufacturing methods. The climax of the day is the private visit of an ancient winery, during which you will taste four different locally produced Chianti typical of the region, together with a platter of traditional Tuscan cuisine and culminating with a delicious dessert accompanied by Vin Santo. Following this exclusive food and wine spectacle, you are free to explore the wonders of characteristic Borgo della Volpaia. Later, your driver will take back to your location in Radda in Chianti.

Day 10 - Montalcino wine tasting, Tuscan lunch and visit to Pienza

Today, you will discover the famous: Montalcino and Pienza You will be chauffeured in luxury car from the you hotel , in the Senese area to one of the most famous wineries in the region, you will discover where the legendary land of Brunello di Montalcino in a winery that is the first winery in Italy with a full female staff, that produces one of the best Brunello di Montalcino of the area. Enjoy a visit of the winery, which we hope will leave you with lasting memories of this day and the flavors that have tantalized your palate, and, of course have a wine tasting with their marvelous wines, including the renowned Brunello Riserva.

We reserved for you also a typical Tuscan Lunch with local products, before the ending of the visit. After the visit transfer to the beautiful Pienza, here you will have free time approx. 2hours. Pienza has started as a Siennese citadel, called Corsignano, from what lasts only a piece of city walls, and a Romanesque church located 3km away. However, Pienza is completely Renaissance style, because has been built by order of the Pope Pio II – Enea Silvio Piccolomini – that decided to transform his home town in a beautiful place for him and his court to be protected and relaxed near the water risings of Valdorcia. Actually, this area is very special because stays near to three important lakes: Trasimeno (of Cortona), Chiusi and Montepulciano Lake; and also close to a great quality water source called Vivo – this the main source that supplies Siena nowadays. Pienza is also the capital city of the “Pecorino” – sheep cheese, and organizes every year, on the second Sunday of September, the “Fiera del Cacio” or the Festival of the local sheep cheese. The milk is particularly aromatic because the configuration of the clayey land where many aromatic herbs grow, and sheep all freely grazed, producing a perfumed milk and cheese. Pienza Pecorino cheese has the D.O.P. European label (which means a Protected Origin Denomination). Pienza Pecorino cheese and Brunello di Montalcino are undoubtely a perfect match!!!! After the visit you private driver will escort you back to the hotel In the Chianti area.

Day 11 - Private Transfer from Chianti to Cortona including a unique visit to a Crystal Factory

After breackfast meet your private driver and transfer In the fantastic scenery of the village of Colle Val d’Elsa (Hill of Elsa Valley), world famous for its production of crystal, you will meet your personal driver who will be accompanying you on your tour. The first stop will be in one of the latest Italian crystal factories, where the Conti family produces objects in the purest crystal. Your personal guide, the daughter of the proprietor, will conduct you on this discovery of all the secrets in the process of production, right up to the final demonstration of the manufacturing of the crystal by an expert craftsman. You will discover the magic of glass blowing: a technique capable of transforming, with a simple blow, the incandescent material into a unique object. After the tour, your driver will accompany you to a magnificent restaurant that Dragonfly Tours has selected exclusively for you, with an amazing menu. After Lunch your private driver will escort you directly to Cortona, arrival at the hotel Borgo S.Pietro 4**** located at the foot of Cortona, one of Italy's most ancient towns, whose roofs, belfries, towers and churches slope gently towards the west like a painting hanging in a strip of sky. Cortona, just 4 km away, can be reached within minutes from the Hotel. The recently opened hotel is appreciated for its tranquillity and unique panoramic position, the distinctive quality of its buildings and the refinement of its furnishings. It comprises 14 luxury rooms and 5 spacious apartments; it has a swimming pool (8 x 16 m) and 7 hectares of private parkland. Free time to enjoy the property and dinner at your leisure even at the resort.

Day 12 - Free day at your leisure 

After breakfast , day at leisure to relax or walking in the nearby natural area.

Day 13 - Half day guided visit in Cortona including a unique lunch in a typical restaurant 

A lovely mountaintop town straddling Tuscany and Umbria. Cortona is a very well preserved Etruscan town, which belonged to the “dodecapolis” of the 12 main Etruscan cities. Today, it’s possible to see the original city walls dating back to 5th century B.C. You can also visit a very interesting Etruscan Academy displaying bronzes, vases and other objects from the Etruscan era. You will have free time to explore Cortona’s main attractions, including churches, museums, and the shopping area of Via Nazionale. Then, we will head to Le Celle is referred to as "Santuario Le Celle" or "Convento delle Celle" (Convent of the cells). Outside the walls of Cortona , through the woods to an amazing complex of stark beige buildings spilling down the slopes of Monte Sant' Edigio. Saint Francis founded the monastery in the early 13th century, preaching here in 1211.

Locals and pilgrims alike find great spiritual inspiration from visiting Saint Francis' spartan cell with its stone bed and wooden pillow. There is a church and a small store on the property. After the visit lunch is reserved for you in a unique restaurant in the hearth of Cortona, it is a cozy, family-run restaurant, you are guaranteed a warm welcome from owner Romano, a DOP cheese affineur and charcuterie expert as well as, and above all, a lover of Arretine cuisine, his wife Agostina who, true to local tradition, accurately prepares superb traditional dishes from the Cortonese and Tuscan cuisine, including soups, hand-made pasta, I.G.P. Chianina beef and traditional desserts, using impeccable seasonal ingredients.

Day 14 - Transfer From Cortona to Rome

Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
