Day 1 - Arrival at Florence airport in Rome and transfer to Florence
Meet & greet your English speaking driver for a private transfer with luxury car from Florence airport to your centrally located hotel Plaza Lucchesi 4**** located in the heart of town. Since 1860, the historical Hotel Plaza Lucchesi symbolizes the elegance and the warm welcome of this ‘flourishing’ city of art. Overlooking the Arno River, it offers on the southern side the hills of the beautiful landscape of San Miniato and Monte and Piazzale Michelangelo, on the northern side the impressive view over the rooftops of the city, with Santa Croce and the Duomo. Day 2 - Full day private tour to Pisa and Lucca including lunch
There are two cities, like jewels, which are found in the immense treasure chest of Tuscany waiting to be admired and explored: Pisa and Lucca. The program: 9:00am Departure from your location in Florence by private car and English speaking guide-driver. 10:30am Arrival in Lucca, guided visit to the town, bike tour along the old walls. Here alongside your personal guide you will explore and learn of the beauty of this small but very important town made famous by its (still intact) Renaissance Wall. You will be amazed by the architectural beauty and artistic ambiance of the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, and marvel at the historic sights that you have witnessed in both these cities. 01:00pm Lunch at Osteria Baralla in Lucca 02:30pm Departure by private car to Pisa 03:30pm Guided visit to Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa: a town, which thanks to its Tower, has became a symbol in Italy and in the world . Day 3 - An Half day biking experience in Tuscany – private and exclusive, not shared with other people
Visit ancient castles and abbeys, wineries for wine tasting and fine restaurants, and savor wonderful views of Italian countryside through hidden and ancient trails by bicycle. Here are two examples leaving from Barberino Val d’Elsa: you will meet the driver out of your hotel in Florence and will be transferred to Barberino val D’elsa, to meet your English speaking bike guide and begin this amazing biking day. FROM VAL DI PESA TO VAL D’ELSA - 25 km (all paved roads)– After visiting the medieval hamlet of Barberino Val D’Elsa, the point of departure and arrival of this itinerary, we’ll be pedaling through the beautiful hills of the Val di Pesa and Val d’Elsa as far as the ancient castle of San Donato, built at the beginning of the year 1000, to then reach the small fortified hamlet of Tignano, a real gem of medieval architecture practically unchanged after 1000 years of history.
LA BADIA A PASSIGNANO - 30 km. (of which 3km of unpaved road)– After visiting the medieval hamlet of Barberino Val D’Elsa, the point of departure and arrival of this itinerary, we’ll be pedaling through the beautiful hills of the Val di Pesa and Val d’Elsa as far as the ancient Badia a Passignano, built in the year 890 on the ruins of a pre-existing Lombard castle. During all the tours a private minivan is at your disposal, when needed, to leave the bikes.
Day 4 - Full day discovering the beautiful Elba Island
Breakfast and check-out from the hotel in Florence. Meet your driver and transfer to Piombino Port. Hydrofoil tickets are reserved for you to get to the Elba Island . After 30 minutes on the hydrofoil you will reach Elba Island ; disembark and transfer on your own by taxi to your reserved 4**** Hotel Desiree. Free day at your disposal. Dinner at the resort.
Day 5 - A day discovering the beautiful Elba Island
Elba is the biggest island of the Tuscan Archipelago and the third largest in Italy after Sardinia and Sicily. What really makes Elba famous and renowned are its clear and blue sea and beautiful beaches. The extraordinary richness of its landscapes, both land and marine, turns the island of Elba into a unique destination in Tuscany. Day 6 - Elba Island / free day
Breakfast at the resort and free day at your disposal enjoying the enchanting and exclusive Bay of Spartaia and has direct access to a private sandy beach with a stunning backdrop of Mediterranean greenery, in a seven-hectare private park. Dinner at the Resort.
Day 7 - Check-out from the hotel in Elba Island and transfer to Radda in Chianti
Check out at the hotel, take a taxi on your own to get to Portoferraio port . From here departure by Hydrofoil to reach Piombino port where you will meet your private driver for a transfer to your hotel in Radda in Chianti (Tuscany). Arrival at the luxury country House “Livernano” in Radda in Chianti right in the hearth of Chianti area. Livernano is a truly ancient place. It was first inhabited by Etruscans, whose culture reached its high-point in Tuscany over 2500 years ago, around 500BC Rooms at Livernano :The Tuscan style lends many of its features to the Mediterranean style: the use of stone, the same Roman arched windows and doors, and even more warm colored roofs and homes are distinctive to this style. Three houses of the hamlet have been completely redesigned to accommodate guests in an atmosphere of understated luxury. Day 8 - Montalcino, Pienza and the Abbey of St. Antimo
After a gourmet breakfast of homemade pastries, jams, cheeses and fresh milk, we will be ready for a splendid day where we will discover the best wine of the world “Brunello di Montalcino”, Pienza and the Abbey of St. Antimo Your private driver will transfer you to Montalcino here you will meet your private guide who will introduce you to the history of this small village during pleasurable walk through the streets of this old town situated high in the Tuscan countryside. Climb the battlements in the historic fortress built in AD 1361 by noted Siennese architects. After the visit transfer to the Abbey of St. Antimo. A monastic settlement situated at Castelnuovo dell’Abate , emanating strong spirituality. It is a typical example of Romanesque architecture (built in the XII Century) and exists today thanks to a community of eight monks mainly Italian and French.
After the visit transfer to the beautiful Pienza, here you will have free time for lunch approx. 2hours. Pienza has started as a Siennese citadel, called Corsignano, from what lasts only a piece of city walls, and a Romanesque church located 3km away. However, Pienza is completely Renaissance style, because has been built by order of the Pope Pio II – Enea Silvio Piccolomini – who decided to transform his home town in a beautiful place for him and his court to be protected and relaxed near the water risings of Valdorcia. Actually, this area is very special because stays near to three important lakes: Trasimeno (of Cortona), Chiusi and Montepulciano Lake; and also close to a great quality water source called Vivo – this the main source that supplies Siena nowadays. Pienza is also the capital city of the “Pecorino” – sheep cheese, and organizes every year, on the second Sunday of September, the “Fiera del Cacio” or the Festival of the local sheep cheese. The milk is particularly aromatic because the configuration of the clayey land where many aromatic herbs grow, and sheep all freely grazed, producing a perfumed milk and cheese. Pienza Pecorino cheese has the D.O.P. European label (which means a Protected Origin Denomination). Pienza Pecorino cheese and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano are undoubtedly a perfect match!!!!
Day 9 - Private Transfer from Chianti to Assisi visiting along the way Siena and Cortona
Today you depart for Assisi, with your private driver, first stop will be in Siena where your personal guide will meet and lead you on a journey of discovery. The history of this small and unique city will be expertly illustrated, allowing you to open your hearts as if you were a true inhabitant of Siena. You will discover the Magnificent Piazza del Campo where twice a year (2 July and 16 August) an event , that every citizen of Siena looks forward to , takes place : the Palio di Siena. You will learn about the history of the Contrade (ancient Sienese name for neighborhood) and visit the famous Duomo but also other monuments of the city. After the tour, your guide will accompany you to your Driver and transfer to the nearby small village of Cortona. Cortona is a very well preserved Etruscan town, which belonged to the “dodecapolis” of the 12 main Etruscan cities.
Today, it’s possible to see the original city walls dating back to 5th century B.C. You will have free time to explore Cortona’s main attractions, including churches, museums, and the shopping area of Via Nazionale, lunch is reserved for you in a unique restaurant in the hearth of Cortona, it is a cosy, family-run restaurant, you are guaranteed a warm welcome from owner Romano, a DOP cheese affineur and charcuterie expert as well as, and above all, a lover of Arretine cuisine, his wife Agostina who, true to local tradition, accurately prepares superb traditional dishes from the Cortonese and Tuscan cuisine, including soups, hand-made pasta, I.G.P. Chianina beef and traditional desserts, using impeccable seasonal ingredients. After lunch transfer to Assisi with your private driver and check in at the Nun Spa Resort 5*****.
Day 10 - Assisi – Deruta and exclusive ECO-WINE tour in Umbria
Breakfast in Hotel and then meet your English speaking private driver for a transfer to Deruta: here meet your English speaking guide for a pleasant walking tour of this very nice and interesting town. The binomial Deruta pottery like the one Deruta ceramics results to be surely indissoluble and characterized by this little village. You will visit one of the oldest Pottery laboratory of the village where you can follow live the creation and decoration of some handicrafts products. You can also make a tour of the exhibition area to admire the production, accompanied by staff members who will explain the aspects of the various processing techniques, applied to actual production. After the tour transfer to a nearby area, visiting a winery and enjoying the exclusive eco-tour among the green hills surrounding the vineyard: a truly unique experience. Day 11 - Assisi/ Rome : private transfer from Assisi to Rome

Free time to relax and explore the city , just walking around from the hotel.
