Day 1- Naples: Arrival and transfer to Sorrento

Upon  arrival of your flights at Naples Airport, you will be greeted by your private English speaking driver and he will transfer you to your hotel in Sorrento: Hotel Corallo 4****. We will reserve for you 1 Double Superior Room with Sea View & Balcony. Check in and rest of the day at your leisure.

 

Day 2– Sorrento: Private tour of the Amalfi Coast

After breakfast meet your personal English speaking driver for a full day tour along the Amalfi Coast. He will drive you to the enchanting route of the “Divine Coast”: along the way, you will have stops for panoramic viewpoint to make some breathtaking pictures. Then, you will have free time to discover and relax on the top of Positano, a small village with Mediterranean styled pure white houses with bougainvillea plants that cover part of the facades. On the way to Amalfi, you will visit a Ceramic shop in Conca dei Marini. At the end of your visit, your driver will bring you to the nearby Amalfi, one of the oldest maritime republics. Here, you will have free time for lunch, at your leisure. You can choose a lunch overlooking the sea or in a typical little Italian “piazza” surrounded by typically southern Italian scenery. After lunch, free time to wander through the labyrinthine streets and admire the magnificent and imposing facade of the cathedral of Saint Andrea with her unique Arab Norman and Romanesque Style. Later, your driver will escort you to Ravello for relaxing moments on the pictoresque square where you will admire the magnificent panorama who inspired poets, philosophers and beauty lovers of any time. After this tour, your driver will be ready to take you back to your hotel in Sorrento. Rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 4– Sorrento: Tour of Capri

After breakfast at your hotel, today, you will have the chance to enjoy the splendid sea surrounding the strip of land that is the Sorrentina Peninsula and discover the secrets of the Island of Capri. You will meet your private English speaking guide and together, you will reach the port, by public taxi, and embark on the Ferry boat to Capri. During the journey, you will be able to breathe in the healthy brackish sea water while admiring the gorgeous Sorrento Coast. Upon arrival, together with your guide, you will enjoy a private tour of the island and admire its beautiful sceneries, like the Faraglioni Rocks, the numerous  caves like the  Blue Grotto, famous all over the world for its intense azure color, “Tiberius’s Leap”, where, according to legend, the Roman emperor used to throw down to the rocks disobedient servants and unwelcome guests. You will discover the centre of Capri and Anacapri and stroll around visiting the famous and elegant ‘ Piazzetta’. At the end of the tour, in the afternoon, you will take the Ferry boat back to Sorrento. End of the tour and rest of the day at your leisure.

 

Day 5– Sorrento to Rome

After breakfast and check out at your hotel, meet your private English speaking driver for a direct transfer to Naples railway station, where you will take a fast train to Rome. Upon arrival, you will meet your private driver and transfer to your centrally located hotel: Trevi Collection 4****. We will reserve for you 1 Double Superior Room. Check in and free time at your leisure.

 

Day 6– Rome: Vatican Museums & PM Free

After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your private English speaking driver and personal English speaking guide and direct transfer to the Vatican Museums. There are no queues and no waiting as your specialist guide introduces you to the masterpieces of such great painters as Raffaello, and Michelangelo. This is one of the greatest collections of art in the world, a collection gathered over the centuries by the Popes of the Catholic Church. You will be enthralled and enchanted by the stunning vision of the Sistine Chapel and also continuing on to the Cortile della Pigna ("Court of the Pinecone") and the celebrated Raphael’s rooms and finally you will have direct access into Saint Peter's Basilica. After the visit, you will have the rest of the day at your leisure.

 

Day 7– Rome: Ancient Rome Tour

After breakfast, meet your private English speaking driver and personal English speaking guide and reach the Ancient part of the town: the Colosseum and Roman Forum. With direct access to this remarkable landmark and no waiting in long lines, you will be awestruck even before entering. Once inside, your personal guide will bring to life the ancient world of the various emperors, noblemen, aristocrats, gladiators and wild beasts that once populated this building. You will then be accompanied to the nearby Roman Forum, known as the "heart" of ancient Rome, and the commercial, political and religious center. After the visit, rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 9– Rome to Florence & PM Tour of Florence & Accademia Gallery

After breakfast and check out at the hotel. You will  meet your private English speaking driver and transfer by private luxury car to the railway station in Rome. You will arrive in about 1 hour in Florence. Upon arrival, you will meet your personal English speaking driver and direct transfer to your hotel: Monnalisa 4****.  We will reserve for you: 1 double superior room. Check in at the hotel and time to rest.  In the afternoon, you will meet your private English speaking guide and get ready for a pleasant walking tour of Florence. You will have the opportunity to observe up close the priceless Dome (Duomo) by Brunelleschi, the largest brick dome in the world, stretching protectively over the Florence Cathedral. You will also see its splendid bell tower: the famous Campanile of Giotto. Your walking will leads you to the Accademia Gallery Museum where the more symbolic work of Michelangelo is housed: Il David, an expression of beauty and physical perfection. It also has other sculptures by Michelangelo and a collection of Renaissance paintings: you will admire also the “Il Ratto delle Sabine” by Giambologna (The Rape of the Sabine Women), as well as “La Madonna ed il Bambino” (Madonna and Child) and “la Madonna del Mare” (Madonna of the Sea) by Botticelli. End of the tour and rest of the day at your leisure.

 

Day 10– Florence: Half day Tour to Pisa

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your private English speaking l driver and get ready to discover the town of Pisa. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your personal English speaking guide: the tour starts from the central Piazza Dei Miracoli, famous for its Leaning Tower and for the many beautiful architectural structures that distinguish this city.

From here, you will have time to explore this small city with your guide and discover the many aspects of this fascinating town, named after a Greek city, from which it is believed originated the first inhabitants. A town, who thanks to its Tower, has become a symbol in Italy and in the world. It has  also fascinated many film directors that have chosen it as a set location for their films. It is so evocative and characteristic, that it has been proposed as one of the seven modern wonders of the world. End of the tour and transfer back to your hotel in Florence.

 

Day 11– Florence: Oil, Cheese and Wine in the Chianti

After breakfast, you will meet your private English speaking driver at your hotel and transfer towards the Chianti area. The first producers of oil in the Chianti Classico zone tried to use the reputation of the existing brand name, which they had developed through wine production, to produce and sell an oil which was not of a high quality. Today however, this attitude has changed. The producers have gained expert knowledge and they have started to produce very high quality oil. The olive trees are alternated with wine plants and are mainly grown on the higher hills.

It’s really interesting to walk through the old wine routes and to discover some true jewels of oil production. You will arrive in Greve where you will have a private guided tour of the market square and you Will visit the artisanal food shops. Then, your driver will transfer you to a famous winery that produces a special “Chianti classico wine”. You will visit the wine cellar of the farm and taste their wines. Lunch will be reserved for you in a typical Tuscan Restaurant located in a tiny mediaeval village in the enchanting hills of Chianti: you will discover the finest delights of Tuscan cuisine and enjoy the peace and quiet of a garden located deep in the green, with cypress trees and splendid vineyards all around. At the end of lunch, guided visit to the oil-cellar and tasting. At the end of the tour, your driver will be ready to transfer you back to your hotel. Rest of the day at your leisure.

 

Day 12– Florence to Venice

After breakfast and check out at the hotel. You will  meet your private English speaking driver and transfer by private luxury car to the railway station in Florence. You will arrive in about 2 hours in Venice. Upon arrival, you will meet your personal English speaking assistant and together you will reach your hotel: Ca’ Dei Conti 4****.  We will reserve for you: 1 double superior room. Day 13– Venice: Walking tour with Private Gondola Ride with Cicchetti tasting

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your personal English speaking guide and start a perfect tour for those who want to know the history of Venice starting from the most important site of the city: Saint Mark’s Square. The tour consists of a visit of Saint Mark’s Square and the explanation of its main monuments: Basilica (inside), Doge’s Palace (from outside), Bridge of Sighs, Clock Tower, Bell Tower. After this historical tour, your guide will accompany you to the meeting point with your gondolier: we will reserve for you a unique Gondola Ride with a food experience. The tour will start in Rio di San Polo and from here, you will explore the jewels of this undiscovered corners, with its numerous Palazzi and noble families’ homes constructed in diverse architectural styles. During this pleasant ride, you will have a quick stop in front of a typical “Bacaro” and your waiter will give you a bottle of Prosecco with some appetizers, the Venetian Cicchetti (classic Venetian appetizers) made with the best ingredients found in the city accompanied by well-known wines. . You will taste them while sailing the hidden canals of Venice and let you guide along the magic views and perspectives which only a gondola can provide from the water.
