My wife and I were embarking on a cruise in Italy. We decided to spend a few extra days before the cruise in Venice and Rome and planned this trip with the help of a travel agency. Our travel agent set us up with Dragonfly and we are so thankful. A few days prior to our trip, Luigi from Dragonfly gave us his contact number and we were in contact through Whatsapp. Even before we arrived in Venice he told us who would be picking us up from the airport. Once we landed and got our luggage, Greta was there to greet us and accompanied us through water taxi to our hotel. We had arranged for a tour later that afternoon but they offered to push it back an hour so that we can have some time to settle in. We had 2 tours booked with them in Venice and both tour guides, Sara and Paula, were very informative. We can tell they were passionate about the history and really wanted to tell us all they knew of the city. When we left, Greta accompanied us from the hotel to the airport once again. When we arrived in Rome we were picked up by a driver (whose name escapes me now) and he navigated those busy roads full of cars and pedestrians so expertly. We opted for a golf cart tour featuring the highlights in Rome with stops for snacks. Gianluca, our guide that night was so much fun! The food stops he picked for us were so delightful. I still can't believe I was eating lamb kabobs while riding in a golf cart to the Colosseum. The next day we were picked up by the same driver to get to our cruise. We loved the fact that there was one point of contact, Luigi, if we needed to change anything or if we had any questions. We also loved that the same person who picked us up from the airport also picked us up from the hotel so there was familiarity. The tour guides were fun, informative and passionate. We had already decided that when we go to Italy again, we will definitely plan our trip with Dragonfly.

We could not be happier with Dragonfly. Giulia's help in designing our customized vacation for 6 people was invaluable. During the trip, Matilde was accessible and responsive to our questions. She resolved any little glitch that occurred (due to weather or train delay). During the trip, the tours, experiences, and guides arranged by Dragonfly were absolutely fantastic. We would recommend Dragonfly to anyone planning a trip to Italy.

My wife and I recently returned from our 8-day Southern Italy trip which included Rome, Naples, Sorrento Amalfi coast and Capri. We are still talking about it today as this was one of our best organized tours and Dragonfly Tours made it possible by tailor making our private tour, choosing fab tour guides exquisite Hotels. I wouldn't know what to suggest to better their services, especially choice of drivers and tour guides, other than it was too short. My wife and I had planned to visit Italy since before Covid and were finally able to go in Oct 2023. We found Dragonfly online and were quickly assigned Luigi who helped us book a series of great private tours in Venice, Florence and Rome including transportation from both airports and train stations. He also selected great centrally-located hotels and all of our drivers/guides were English speaking. The guides were extremely knowledgeable about the cities, art, and historic landmarks we visited. We provided Luigi our dates, budget, and areas we wished to visit and he quickly provided detailed itineraries. After a few modifications to the original, we had a perfect trip planned. Luigi always texted us reminders of planned pick-up times and locations and provided names off drivers and guides and they were always on time. We skipped the long lines with our guides and easily got into museums and landmarks. I never write reviews, but honestly can’t say enough about the level of service provided with Dragonfly and specifically Luigi.
