This tour is designed to showcase some of the rare and fascinating aspects of the city of Verona and its surrounding region.

Collecting you from Piazzale Roma in Venice your driver will take you to Verona, where you will meet your personal guide who will tell you all about the wonders of this charming city. Starting in the historic city center you will visit the Arena, a Roman amphitheater, before traveling to the famous house of Juliet. This XIII century building is believed to be the house where Shakespeare's heroine lived. Your guided tour will continue to the lesser-known underground Verona. Venturing up to 9 meters below the city you will see many Roman remains and archaeological finds that have been left where they were discovered. You will be fascinated by the allure of one of the most beautiful cities of art in Italy.Afterwards your driver will take you to Valpolicella, an area extremely rich in rare grapes and vines that produces one of the rarest wines in the world: the Amarone. With its intense red color and full flavor this wine DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) is the symbol of the stunning valley in which it is produced. You will taste the Valpolicella Superiore, the Valpolicella Ripasso, the Amarone della Valpolicella and the Recioto della Valpolicella, in one of the historic private local wineries,
run entirely by the family.Situated among the hills full of olives and grapevines, this unique winery was founded in 1998, when Stefano, the owner, decided to mark a turning point in his career as a businessman in his agricultural activity,  perfecting the quality of his extra virgin olive oil by purchasing a modern oil mill for private use. In 2002, the winery was incorporated and the first wines were: "Il Valpolicella Sup. 2002", "L'Amarone 2002", and "Il Recioto 2002", labels that you will taste together with characteristic, local, best-quality products.  You will be delighted by the passion, love and commitment that everyone displays in order to create unique wines, free of additives. Every wine that you will taste has followed this natural ageing process which guarantees their unique flavour. After this splendid day, your driver will return you to Venice, certain to have contributed to a pleasurable experience for all of your senses.
