Day 1 – Naples: Arrival & Transfer to Sorrento

Upon arrival at Naples Airport, you will reach on your own your hotel in Sorrento: Hotel Corallo 4****. We will book 1 Double superior room with sea view + 1 Triple room with sea view. Check in and the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 – Sorrento: Amalfi Coast Tour

After breakfast, you will be met by your private English speaking driver for a full day tour along the Amalfi coast along the enchanting route known as the “Divine Coast”: on the way, you will have stops from panoramic viewpoints to take some breathtaking pictures. Then, you will have time to discover and relax on the top of Positano, a small village with Mediterranean style white washed houses covered with bright pink bougainvillea. On the way to Amalfi, you will visit a Ceramic shop in Conca dei Marini with the beautiful locally made pottery. At the end of your visit, you will then carry on to Amalfi, one of the oldest Maritime Republics. At lunch time, you will have some free time at leisure. After lunch, you will enjoy a tour of the town and admire the magnificent and imposing facade of the cathedral of Saint Andrea with her unique Arab Norman and Romanesque Style. Later, your driver will escort you to Ravello for relaxing moments on the picturesque square where you will admire the magnificent panorama that has inspired poets, philosophers and beauty lovers for many centuries. After this tour, your driver will be ready to take you back to your hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 3 - Sorrento: Pizza Making Class

Today we will reserve a special experience for you: a pizza making class in Sorrento. After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your private English speaking driver for a transfer to the location of your cooking class. The cooking course takes place in a farmhouse located not far away from Sorrento, overlooking the bay of Naples and Salerno surrounded by lush vegetation and characterized by olive groves, vineyards and citrus groves. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by your private English speaking chef and receive a hat and apron. Then together, you will learn the tricks of the trade from the experts. As you fire up the wood stove, you will learn how the dough is rigorously made from scratch and choose from a variety of toppings: from the simple style of the ‘Margherita’ with tomato and mozzarella to the more elaborate prosciutto, mushrooms, anchovies and more. Finally you will taste the pizza you have made! At the end of the cooking class, your English speaking driver will be waiting for you and ready to transfer you back to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4 - Sorrento: Private Boat Tour of Capri

Today, you will have the chance to enjoy the splendid sea surrounding the strip of land that is the Sorrentina Peninsula and discover the secrets of the Island of Capri. Your private driver will meet you at the hotel and take you to the port where you will embark on your private boat with an English speaking Skipper. During the journey you are able to breathe in the healthy sea air and sprays of water while admiring the gorgeous Sorrento Coastline. Only a boat trip can give you such beautiful views of the island of Capri, many of which are inaccessible by land. By boat, in fact, you can reach small hidden coves where you can swim or get a suntan and enjoy the full the beauty of the island. The excursion includes the circumnavigation around the island so as to appreciate at its best the incredible scenery, for example the Faraglioni Rocks, the numerous caves like the White Grotto, the Emerald Grotto and the Blue Grotto, famous all over the world for its intense azure color, “Tiberius’s Leap”, where, according to legend, the Roman emperor used to force  his disobedient servants and unwelcome guests to jump off the cliff. During the tour, you can stop for a pleasant swim in the crystal-clear waters or if you prefer in the harbor of Marina Grande you can go for a walk in Capri and Anacapri and discover this enchanting Island. On your boat, you will have snorkeling equipment, Towels, drinks (water, beer, coca cola, limoncello) and a classic Panino with fresh tomato and mozzarella. At about 05:30pm, at the end of your day, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Rest of the evening for you to relax and enjoy at leisure.

Day 5 – Sorrento to Florence with tour of Pompeii & lunch in a winery

After breakfast and check out from your hotel, you will meet your private English speaking driver and travel to Pompeii where you will meet your English speaking guide for a tour of the Pompeii excavations and start your visit. You will admire the ruins of this famous city that, in AD 79 was submerged by lava and ashes from the nearby volcanic eruption of Mt Vesuvius. You will be able to examine by close up the daily life of this Roman population and how it was devastated by one of the Worst natural disasters in ancient history. The excavations of Pompeii are, due to their importance and relevance, the most visited archeological site in the world. After the tour, your driver will accompany you to a winery settled close to Pompeii. Here, you will enjoy a guided tour inside the 4 hectares of the property, besides historical witnesses, visit the vineyards and elegant cellars and visit the Museum of Wine in an Ancient Building from the 16th century. The tour ends up with the Wine Tasting and the tasting of traditional Neapolitan dishes and for fun some Ancient Roman dishes too. After lunch, you will meet up again with your driver for a direct transfer to the railway station in Naples, where you will take your fast train to Florence. Upon arrival, you will meet by your private English speaking driver and transfer to your hotel: Hotel Degli Orafi 4****. We will book 1 Double executive room + 1 triple executive room. Check in and time to relax.

Day 6 – Florence: Shopping Day at the Mall

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your English speaking driver and get ready to an amazing day of shopping. Together with your driver, you will reach an open air mall where you will find all the most exclusive Italian brands, eg: Fendi, Gucci, Emilio Pucci, Sergio Rossi and many more. You can also find a lot of International haute couture brands like: Balenciaga, Lanvin, Saint Laurent etc. In the afternoon, your driver will accompany you back to your hotel in Florence, where you will have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7 – Florence: Tour of Cinque Terre

After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your private English speaking driver and get ready to discover the Ligurian Coast. You will travel to La Spezia, where you will meet your private English speaking guide and together, you will discover the beauties of this part of Italy.  The Ligurian Coast is a masterpiece of nature that offers its visitors unique and breathtaking views; here you will find five little “jewels” or hills - the Cinque Terre - the true “jewels” of the Mediterranean sitting along a rugged portion of coast on the Italian Riviera. You will meet your private guide and start your tour from Riomaggiore. This southern-most village offers a high concentration of houses in a small area, a distinctive feature giving the impression of a "tree" with its buildings as the branches. Here, you will start your walking tour passing through the vineyards and the ‘love track’ to Manarola, a region characterized by its colorful houses facing the sea, and its small intertwining streets and alleys connected by a network of stairways that lead to the little village. Next, perched atop a rock (or promontory) 90 meters high, you will visit the only hill of the Cinque Terre that is not directly on the sea: Corniglia. Here, you will have free time for lunch at leisure. Take time to explore, before continuing your journey to Vernazza, nestled in a breathtaking inlet whose shoreline features the classic cultivated terraced grapevines. Finally reach the idyllic village of Monterosso which is the farthest to the west and the most populated of the five Cinque Terre villages, it is situated in the center of this small natural bay. These five fisherman villages have a tiny population of approximately  5000 people and they are part of Unesco including the surrounding sea.  At the end of the tour, your driver will accompany you back to your hotel in Florence. Rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 8 – Florence: Tour of Assisi

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your private English speaking driver and travel to Assisi. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your English speaking guide and get ready to enjoy a walking tour of the city. Assisi was the birthplace of St. Francis who gave up his worldly possessions and founded the Order of Franciscans in AD 1208. You will see the Roman Forum, an area of historical significance and well-preserved Roman remains including other interesting areas. Then, you will walk to the magnificent Basilica of San Francesco, which (since AD 1230) preserves the saint's remains. With its medieval artworks by Giotto and Cimabue, the church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the end of the tour, you will have free time for lunch and to explore the town on your own. In the afternoon, meet up again with your driver and transfer back to your hotel in Florence. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 9 – Florence: AM Tour of the Uffizi Gallery & PM Transfer to Rome

After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your private English speaking guide for a pleasant walking tour of Florence. You will have the opportunity of observing close up the priceless Duomo with its incredible dome done by Brunelleschi, the largest brick dome in the world, stretching protectively over the Florence Cathedral. You will also see its splendid bell tower: the famous Campanile of Giotto. You will make your way to the Uffizi Gallery. The Gallery houses a superb collection of priceless art, originating in great part from the Medici family private collection, enriched over the centuries by endowments, exchanges and donations, amongst which an important group of religious works stands out, resulting from the suppression of the monasteries and convents between the XVIII and XIX centuries. Here, you will find the richest collection in the world of works of the Tuscan school, Florentine in particular, among which: Cimabue, Michelangelo, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci and Raffaello. Without parallel is the collection of works by Sandro Botticelli. At the end of the tour, you will have free time for lunch. After lunch, you will meet your private English speaking driver for a transfer to the railway station, where you will take your fast train to Rome. Day 10 – Rome: Private Golf Cart Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your private English speaking guide with Golf Cart, that will turn a long walking tour into a fun and relaxing adventure! Together, you will explore the eternal city and Rome’s small, colorful alleyways to discover beautiful squares, hidden fountains and famous Baroque churches containing masterpieces of art and paintings from some of Italy’s greatest artists. You will be able to move around the historical center while still enjoying the sights and sounds of the city as close as you would on foot but with a refreshing breeze in your open air cart. Your private English speaking guide will tell you all about Rome’s famous monuments such as the Pantheon, Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps, but will also be happy to take you into lesser known magical corners of Rome that visitors can easily miss if you don’t know where to look. End of the tour and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 11 – Rome: Vatican Museums

After breakfast, you will be  met by your private English speaking driver and guide and transfer to the world’s smallest state. Here you can tour through one of the world’s most cherished art collections. Visited by over 5 million people every year, the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel play an essential part in your Roman experience. Your qualified expert guide will lead you through the centuries and highlight the masterpieces that no visitor to Rome should ever miss. The treasure trove you see today originated over five hundred years ago, as a result of the humanist popes’ passion of collecting and commissioning artworks. Nestled close to St. Peters you will enjoy the marvels of the world-famous Sistine chapel. You will be in the heart of the Christian world as you admire Michelangelo’s stunning frescoes amongst which are two of his most well-known masterpieces: the Last Judgement and the Creation of Adam. Finally the guided tour will lead you straight to St. Peter’s Basilica, where the impact of Michelangelo’s Pietà cannot fail to move you, also the colossal dome designed by Michelangelo, that despite living to 89 years old he never lived to see it completed. End of the tour and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 12 – Rome: Ancient Rome

After breakfast, meet your private English speaking driver and guide and reach the Ancient part of the town: the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Specially designed to provide visitors with an unforgettable experience and in-depth understanding of the splendors of Ancient Rome, this tour will lead you to the most significant monuments and sights of this spectacular open-air museum. Your visit begins as you access the Colosseum, Rome’s most stunning landmark and one of Ancient Rome’s most vital social centers. Once inside the amphitheater, you will tread the ground where gladiators and ferocious beasts once fought and emperors, with a mere gesture of the thumb, decided the fate of slaves and prisoners. Your professional guide will lead you through the ruins and bring to life the dramas that unfolded within these ancient walls. You will climb the Palatine Hill, the legendary birthplace of Rome where Romulus and Remus are said to have been raised by the she-wolf 753 BC. From here, enjoy a breathtaking view of the Fora and the Circus Maximus where chariots once raced round the 620 meter track dating back to the VI century BC. The tour will end with a stroll along the Via Sacra which is the main route through the Roman Forum. End of the tour and rest of the day at leisure. What better way to spend your last day?

Day 13 – Rome: Departure

Breakfast and check out from your hotel, please reach Rome Fiumicino Airport, at your own expense, for your flight back home.
