Day 1 - Florence – Half day walking tour

Arrival at Florence airport where you will meet your personal English speaking assistant to help you with all disembarkation formalities. Meet outside with your private driver to collect you and transfer directly to your Luxury Belmond Villa San Michele Hotel in Fiesole (Florence) 5*****L. Once a monastery is now a boutique hotel set high on a hill above the city of Florence. Time for check in and rest before joining a walking tour in the afternoon in Florence. Your private guide together with the driver will wait for you in the lobby of the hotel and begin your exploration of Florence with the first of the four great Florentine churches: the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella. It was founded in AD 1219 by twelve Dominicans under the guidance of Brother Giovanni da Salerno.

The structure has a facade that represents one of the most important works of the Florentine Renaissance. The visit will continue on to the churches of San Lorenzo, Santa Maria del Fiore and Santa Croce. Santa Croce one of the largest churches celebrated by the Franciscan monks is famous for the numerous tombs of great artists, literary men and scientists. This magnificent church is appropriately called the "Temple of the Italian Glories" and is a true symbol of the city. These four splendid wonders reveal the grand history of this city through the works of painters and architects including Giotto, Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Botticelli and many others. You will also be fascinated by the historic influence of the great Italian princely families (such as the Medici) who, over the course of three centuries, changed the political, social and above all, the artistic scene of Italy. This guided tour is one of the suggestion because very interesting and unusual but you may require other highlights of Florence if any in particular. After this enchanting visit, you will go back to your splendid hotel for a pleasant dinner.

Day 2 - Ferrari Tour Maranello Modena

After breakfast get ready for an early departure towards Maranello and the Ferrari Museum. Our personal English speaking guide will wait for you at the hotel and will accompany you through this special day. You will learn about the history of the legend and the technology used in the cars from Ferrari, take a look behind the scenes of the team, which won the most titles in the history of Formula 1: the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro. This tour will give you the unique opportunity to spend an unforgettable day among the stars of the engineers. We will start with a visit to the Ferrari official Museum in Maranello. The Museum was officially opened on Enzo Ferrari’s birthday February 18th, in 1990, a year and a half after the founder had passed away. It is divided into themed areas designed to fulfill the expectations of enthusiasts of all kinds, from motor racing fans to expert historic car enthusiasts: it has an exhibition area of 5 main halls (the Competition Hall, Cittadella Ferrari and Formula Uomo, the Victories Hall, the Grand Tourer Hall and the Temporary Exhibitions Hall) as well as the Ferrari Store, the Café, driving simulators and photo point, which collects cars, impressive pit-stop reconstructions, images and trophies of Ferrari’s many victories all over the world. All these exhibitions will make you live the myth of Maranello’s red cars.

Before lunch time, you will have a chance to experience a test drive in a Ferrrari car on the public roads around the factory. After this interesting visit, it is time for lunch. The restaurant is strategically located in Maranello, opposite the world-famous Ferrari automobile factory and not far from the Galleria Ferrari museum. This restaurant is a must for all Ferrari fans. The menu is the fruit of many years’ experience and is based on typical Emilian fare using only the freshest, finest quality ingredients. It includes fresh homemade pasta and several fish dishes. After this delicious meal you will continue your journey towards Modena where you will pay a visit to the historical centre of this lovely town including the Ghirlandina tower. Then, after your arrive at the hotel in Florence, in the evening you will be served a delicious dinner at your Hotel.

Day 3 - Florence full day – Academia Gallery and Uffizi Gallery

After breakfast meet your private English speaking guide in Florence and start the walking guided visit of this splendid city with your family including the wonderful Accademia Gallery so to admire the many masterpieces this Gallery has got: ‘David’ and ‘Prigioni’ sculptures by Michelangelo , just to name a couple. At the end of the visit a nice lunch will be provided at a typical restaurant down town close to the Uffizi Gallery and the Academia. The Uffizi Gallery houses a superb collection of priceless art, originating in great part from the Medici family collection, enriched over the centuries by endowments, exchanges and donations, among which an important group of religious works stands out, resulting from the suppression of the monasteries and convents between the XVIII and XIX centuries. Here, you will find the richest collection in the world of works of the Tuscan school, Florentine in particular, among which: Cimabue, Michelangelo, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci and Raffaello. Without parallel is the collection of works by Sandro Botticelli. At the end of the visit you may decide if and when go back to your hotel for relax or continuing your city tour on your own until dinner. Day 4 - Rafting experience (Carmela and the two daughters) Minimum 4 persons

Let you guide by expert rafters along the San Niccolò weir, while admiring the main highlights of Florence, a pleasant ride on rubber boat which will guide you on Arno river 1 kilometer before Florence up to Ponte Vecchio through a splendid scenic itinerary. Fly fishing (Rick and son) A fishing guide team based in Tuscany expert in teaching you fly fishing tecniques. Transport from and to near Florence provided together with all the necessary equipment (waders, boot, rod and so on)-guide service (English speaking guide), licence and private permit, Picnic Baskets. Day 5 - Florence/Rome airport /Sardinia

Breakfast and check out at Villa San Michele. Your English speaking driver and private assistant will escort you to Florence railway station for departure to Rome by fast train and first class reserved seats . You will reach Rome after 1 hour and 15 minutes journey. At your arrival your English speaking driver and assistant will collect you from the railway station for a direct transfer to Rome Fiumicino Airport and departure to Olbia in Sardinia. Assistant at the airport will greet you with a short private car transfer to reach the splendid Relais Hotel Villa del Golfo 5*****L. Check in at your luxury suite with 3 double rooms and 3 bathrooms with private pool. Rest of the day available to relax and enjoy the splendid seaside: the most beautiful in all of Italy. Overnight at hotel Villa del Golfo.

Day 6 - Boat tour in La Maddalena Arcihpelago (The most beautiful Archipelago in the world)

Breakfast at the hotel. You will really enjoy this day! The islands of the archipelago lie in one of the most seducing seas in the world. Luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation and rare essences. Moreover, beaches, bays, small bays, gorges, and very white or pink sands; granitic rocks shaped and dug by the raging and purifying wind of a sea where dolphins and big fishes swim. The archipelago is known all over the world as a territory of rare beauty and a particular naturalistic, historical and cultural value. The establishment of the National Park will set off the safeguard and the enhancement of all the resources of the territory. The Archipelago of Maddalena, known and appreciate by the people fond of sea and of sailing, will become a cause of pride for Sardinia and for the whole Country and will attract the attention of the European Union. Islands and holms situated in the large and charming stretch of sea between the Bocche di Bonifacio and the Costa Smeralda: La Maddalena, Caprera, S.Stefano, Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli, S. Maria, and a myriad of holms (among which Mortorio, Soffi, and Nibani) scattered in the most beautiful stretch of Mediterranean Sea, and maybe of the whole world, form an archipelago which is universally considered a real nature work of art. We'll sail along the incredible coastline featured by beautiful beaches, charming little villages and various smaller or bigger islands part of an important marine park where all the species of flora and fauna are protected by the Italian State law.

The first stop will be in the historic center of La Maddalena for a drink and a bit of shopping in the nice shops of typical products. You will stop on several of the islands of the archipelago to let the clients relax and sunbathe. Sailing along the 'Budelli' island you will admire the 'Pink beach' called this way because of the colour of the sand of the beach. Lunch will be provided on board of your boat with cold dishes and nice pasta at your choice prepared by your Captain. Back in the afternoon at your resort for relax and dinner.

Day 7 - Sardinia hinterland, Archeo tour and visit at Surrau Winery

Breakfst at the hotel. This tour will take you on a fascinating route to the hinterland. First stop at the Nuraghe Prisgiona, a typical prehistoric monument of Sardinia, dating from the Bronze Age (XI – VI century BC Christ). The monument has the shape of a tower, a truncated cone, built with huge stones barely squared. Throughout the centuries the building was enlarged with walls, towers . The judgment includes a brief tour. The itinerary continues through Arzachena, and to the tomb of giants Coddu Vecchiu, which is a mass grave of the era of Nuraghi, so called causes of huge stones that compose it, and which recall the menhirs. 10 minutes off for the visit and comments. Then, you will reach a local winery for a tour and a wine tasting. Afterwards transfer to the ancient olive trees by the Liscia lake and to a local farmhouse for a delicious sardinian lunch. The winery The winery where you will do the tasting was conceived as a meeting point between art and nature. A structure characterized by transparent facades and walls of local stones that blend with the earth through a modern, able to enhance the scenic beauty of the more than 40 hectares of vineyards from which the wines Surrau. A unique place where tradition meets hospitality to offer the visitor an unforgettable experience. The wine cellar offers wine tasting tours fascinating fact, a Wine Boutique for the purchase of wine and a room dedicated to the vernissage and temporary exhibitions of contemporary art.

The old olive trees of the Holy Baltolu of Caranas, located a few kilometers from Luras, stand out against the background of the Liscia lake in an environment of absolute value. S'Ozzastru, the older name of the two ancient trees, watches over the enchanted valley with all its grandeur: 12 meters in circumference and 8 feet tall. According to some studies, it is one of the oldest trees in Europe, with an age which could be between 3,000 and 4,000 years old. In 1991, this "patriarch of nature" has been declared a Natural Monument, is part of the list of "Twenty trees Italian’s to protect and declare a National Monument. Lunch will take place at a beautiful farm and restaurant located at 18 km from the sea, in a magical setting of cork trees, Mediterranean oaks and granite where traditional cuisine lives happily along with a high regard for quality and details is an active farm milking sheep and goats besides keeping pigs, wild boars, chicken and producing a large amount of honey, and the basic ingredients for our homemade liquors and vegetable conserves. Most of these products are then transformed on the farm into pecorino cheese, ricotta, salame, hams, or go towards the different preparation. Back to the hotel in the afternoon for relax and sunbathe at your splendid location. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 – Relais Villa del Golfo Hotel Sardinia

Breakfast at the hotel. A free day at the Villa del Golfo & Spa. Today, you will have the possibility to enjoy the resort's private beach, pools and spa all in complete relax. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 – Sardinia /Rome

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Meet with your assistant and speaking English driver for transfer by private minivan to Olbia airport for connection flight in Rome Fiumicino airport to fly back home
