Discovering Venice

Enjoy a unique walking tour through hidden areas of the Lagoon city. A gastronomic and historical tour of this wonderful ancient city on the lagoon, perfect for those who want their journey to be a unique, unforgettable experience. You will meet the tour guide directly under the ship and with your private water taxi you will have a transfer to the city.

Your tour will begin at the Cà d’Oro in the neighborhood that occupies the northwest part of Venice, Cannaregio, far from the usual tourist tracks. Led by your personal guide, you will pass through streets that are rarely visited, as you savor the charm of this hidden district which features a number of splendid, unknown churches of historic and cultural value as well as the old Jewish Ghetto, the oldest in Europe. Next you will visit an area alongside the Grand Canal, and in the charming neighborhood of Santa Croce you will be able to see one of the few interior gardens open to the public.Throughout the tour you will make some appetizing stops, enabling you to sample "i cicchetti" (classic Venetian appetizers) made with the best ingredients found in the city accompanied by well-known wines, before ending your tour at San Stae (an abbreviation for Saint Eustachius), a church in central Venice. At the end of your tour you will have the transfer back to the harbor with your private water taxi.
