Day 1 - Rome Arrival
Arrival of your flight at Fiumicino airport .Meet your personal English speaking driver at the airport for a transfer to your centrally located hotel Fourtyseven 4****L. Check- in and rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight.
Day 2 – Rome Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, St.Peter’s Church, Colosseum, Imperial Fora
Breakfast in Hotel. Meet your personal English speaking guide and driver in the lobby for a full day guided tour. In the morning Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel St. Peter ‘s Church, your specialist guide will introduce you to the masterpieces of such great painters as Raffaello, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. You will then be held spellbound as you experience the magnificence of the Sistine Chapel. From the Vatican Museums you will be escorted to the Basilica di San Pietro (St. Peter's Basilica), a sacred place designed and executed by some of the greatest architects of the XV century - from Bramante to Michelangelo and from Raffaello to Bernini. Lunch will be at a restaurant closed by where you will appreciate typical roman dishes . The afternoon will proceed with your guide to a walking tour of the major highlights of Rome including Colosseum and Imperial Fora. You will be awestruck even before entering. Once inside, your personal guide will bring to life the ancient world of the various emperors, noblemen, aristocrats, gladiators and wild beasts that once populated this building. Return to the hotel. Free dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Rome Tivoli Villa d’Este
Breakfast in Hotel. Accompanied by your private English speaking driver and guide, you will reach the ancient town of Tivoli, which boasts being older than Rome. Locals would call this tour "a trip outside the gates". Here, you will visit Villa d’ Este, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a fine example of Renaissance architecture and the Italian Renaissance garden. With its impressive number of fountains, nymphs, grottos, waterworks and music, many of which have been emulated in gardens throughout Europe, the garden is considered exceptional in terms of landscape, artistic and historic value. Lunch will be at a well known restaurant in the area: here, you will sample a menu carefully selected by the chef and including a mouth-watering homemade pasta and several other courses made with the freshest traditional ingredients. After your meal, return at your hotel, well satisfied after having enjoyed a beautiful day and a typical Roman meal.
Day 4 - Rome/Civita di Bagnoregio/Florence
Breakfast and check out at hotel Fourtyseven. Transfer from hotel to Florence with your private luxury car and driver. Along this journey you will stop in Civita di Bagnoregio where to enjoy a walking around this village, discovering many of its hidden, evocative corners and appreciate a wonderful lunch in one of the most well-known restaurants in the area. Here, the cuisine is simple with traditional local dishes. For wine lovers, there is an excellent and abundant tasting choice, with many local wines such as the famous Orvieto Classico or the EST EST EST di Montefiascone. All of this is seasoned with a splendid panoramic view from the restaurant’s exclusive location. After lunch your driver will escort you to your final destination :Florence, in a very elegant, 4 stars, centrally located hotel: Monnalisa. Check in at the hotel and time at your leisure. Overnight.
Day 5 - Florence Uffizi Gallery
Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your personal English speaking guide in the lobby for a walking tour of Florence including a visit the Uffizi Gallery Museum. The Gallery houses a superb collection of priceless art, originating in great part from the Medici family collection, enriched over the centuries by endowments, exchanges and donations, among which an important group of religious works stands out, resulting from the suppression of the monasteries and convents between the XVIII and XIX centuries. Here, you will find the richest collection in the world of works of the Tuscan school, Florentine in particular, among which: Cimabue, Michelangelo, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci and Raffaello. Without parallel is the collection of works by Sandro Botticelli. Lunch will be served for you in a typical restaurant in the city centre. Rest of afternoon and dinner will be at your free disposal. Overnight.
Day 6 - Florence/Pisa
Breakfast will be at the hotel, meet the driver in the lobby and transfer to Pisa where your English speaking guide will greet you and introduce you to the daily tour, to discover one of the most and wonderful cities of Italy: Pisa. The tour will start from the central Piazza Dei Miracoli, famous for its Leaning Tower and for the many beautiful architectural structures distinguishing this city.
From here you will have time to explore this place on your own and the many aspects of this fascinating town, named after a Greek city, from which it is believed originated the first inhabitants. A town, who thanks to its Tower, has become a symbol in Italy and in the world . It has also fascinated many film directors who have chosen it as a set location for their films. It is so evocative and characteristic, to the extent that it has been proposed as one of the seven modern wonders of the world. Your daily tour in Pisa will end in a typical restaurant, pre reserved for you,for a nice lunch. Certainly pleased with the experience of this day and the beauties of this gorgeous city, you will be transferred back to Florence by private car and driver. Rest of the day and dinner will be at your free disposal. Overnight in Florence.
Day 7 - Florence/ Venice
Breakfast and check out at your hotel and then transfer by private luxury car to Florence train station for departure to Venice where you will get in about 2 hours. At the train station in Venice you will have a reserved private taxi boat to reach the hotel in the center of Venice , near San Marco Square. Check in at Hotel Cà dei Conti and time for relaxing . Day 8 - Venice
Breakfast at the hotel today, enjoy a unique walking tour through hidden areas of the Lagoon city. The tour will begin at the Cà d'Oro in the neighborhood that occupies the northwest part of Venice, Cannaregio, far from the usual tourist tracks (transfer can be arranged). Led by your personal guide, you will pass through streets that are rarely visited, as you savor the charm of this hidden district which features a number of splendid, unknown churches of historic and cultural value as well as the old Jewish Ghetto, the oldest in Europe.
Next you will visit an area alongside the Grand Canal, before crossing to the Palazzo Corner della Regina, situated in the charming neighborhood of Santa Croce. Throughout the tour you will make some appetizing stops, enabling you to sample "i cicchetti" (classic Venetian appetizers) made with the best ingredients found in the city accompanied by well-known wines, before ending your tour at San Stae (an abbreviation for Saint Eustachius), a church in central Venice. Day 9 - Venice/ departure
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Meet your personal taxi boat driver at the lobby for transfer you to Venice international airport for departure flight back home.
