On this tour you will discover some of the secrets of Roman cuisine from a famous master chef, in one of the Eternal City's most unique settings.
Your driver will collect you from your hotel to take you to Castel Gandolfo, a pretty town in the 'Castelli' area, a short journey south of Rome. Once you have arrived, you will be welcomed into one of the most famous restaurants in the Latium region, having been run by the same family since 1882. Here, together with the chef, you will be able to try your hand at preparing three different types of pasta which are fundamental to a typical Roman menu: "gnocchi", "fettuccine" and "ravioli".
Not only will you learn how to roll out the dough the old fashioned way (with a rolling pin), but also how to pair every type of pasta with a sauce that enhances its flavor. Following your lesson you will be able to taste the meal you have prepared, accompanied by a traditional second course, wine and dessert, on the terrace with one of the city's most breath-taking views. This location is also a well-known destination of the international jet-set. Robert De Niro enjoyed the owner Papà Aurelio's gelato and an assortment of homemade desserts.
