The following general terms and conditions apply, however regional circumstances and regulations, contractual obligations to suppliers, and matters relating to location, product type and supply logistics may cause these to be varied slightly for specific products, or specific destinations. These amendments and alterations are shown in the Terms And Conditions sections of each web site, and should be read in conjunction with the Terms And Conditions shown below.
- Dragonfly Tours has taken due care and responsibility to verify and check all information on our web sites as at the time of compilation, however, as this information is supplied by the relevant accommodation & tour/cruise operators in our brochures, it accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracy or misdescription contained in the publications.
- Sales of services as contained in our publications are made by Dragonfly Tours only as agent for the person, business or company providing the services. The standards of accommodation and other services chosen are based on various factors, which are generally accepted as indicative of a certain class.
- Dragonfly Tours Ltd does not accept responsibility for any change in prices or variation of services as shown, and all services and prices are subject to change without notice.
- Dragonfly Tours Ltd does not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of those service providers in connections with your convention pursuant to a contract between them and yourselves and over whom we have no direct control. We do not accept liability in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which are beyond our control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action.
- It is essential that you check with us, or your travel agent, for any changes or variations to the information shown on our web sites. This will allow us to advise you, or your agent, of any such changes that we are aware of either before you book your holiday, or prior to your departure.
- Tour prices are for tours package only and inclusive of services taxes. Rates are in EURO. Our tour package rates do not include airfare. All rates for our tours reflect a 3% discount for purchases paid by Bank Draft. Discounts are not provided for sales paid by credit card. In case of human or computer error, Dragonfly Tours reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or services.
- Reservations & Payments
Your tour reservation will be confirmed based on availability at the time of booking. Receipt of a Registration Form is required to hold your reservation. Dragonfly Tours accepts all major credit cards. Credit card must be owned by the traveler.

- At the moment of booking of the tour 20% of the total amount will be charged, as a guarantee of the reservation (not refundable).
- Total balance to be paid 45 days before departure of the tour.

Tour deposit is requested for secure booking and administration fee. It will be fixed and communicated to the client after having received the detailed request of one tour/vacation package.
When the final proposal of the customized tour is accepted and approved by the client the tour deposit will be deducted from the total amount of the tour.
When the final proposal of the customized tour is not accepted and approved by the client the tour deposit will be kept by us for having specifically designed and pre-booked the customized tour and to cover the administration fees.
Payment and cancellation policies will be communicated after the confirmation of the services of the customized tours.
- Cancellation Policy
Once a deposit or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received.
Please read our tour cancellation terms on your tour registration form.
Notice period is provided:
- Up to 46 days prior departure 20% (total amount of deposit)
- From 45 to 30 days prior departure 50% of the total amount
- From 29 to arrival day or no show 100% of the total amount
Refunds on unused services
Our Tours are sold as a package and therefore we cannot refund a client for services that he/she decided not to utilize.
- Prices increase
A full refund will be made to passengers who choose not to pay an increase, provided by Dragonfly Tours only after having received a written cancellation within five days of the price increase notification.
- Credit Cards
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Credit card charges will only be processed upon acceptance in writing of the tour and price from the client and upon completion of tour registration form and must be owned by the traveler.
- Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in the tour price. Dragonfly Tours strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance package, which covers health, lost luggage, trip cancellation and trip interruption. Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any losses or expenses, which you or any member of your party may incur as a result of failing to secure adequate coverage.
Dragonfly Tours shall not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of luggage and/or personal items. If travel insurance policy was purchased, all damage/loss must be reported at time of incident and documented in writing by local authorities for submission to the insurance company
- Tour Itinerary/services
Dragonfly Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. In all cases, Dragonfly Tours will do its best to maintain the content of the tour. If the tour services as indicated by the itinerary cannot be supplied or there are changes in the itinerary for reasons beyond the control of Dragonfly Tours we will arrange for provision of comparable services. Dragonfly Tours reserves the right to make changes in the itinerary whenever Dragonfly Tours deems it necessary to the comfort, convenience and safety of the participant at any time. No refund will be paid for unused services such as: transfers, sightseeing, meals, hotel accommodation, entrance fees, and others that are listed in the tour program. Passengers are responsible to provide accurate passport names for any reservations. Dragonfly Tours will not be held responsible for the denial of services due to any name discrepancy.
- Tours/Services Cancellations
In case of tour cancellation for reasons beyond the control of Dragonfly, tour payments will be refunded, excluding the tour deposit fee.
Alternatively, in case of tour cancellation, you will be offered an equivalent tour in similar departure date.
Dragonfly Tours will not be held responsible for any costs relating cancellations due to political instability, acts of terrorism, government intervention, act of God.
Should Dragonfly Tours elect to cancel a departure for any of these reasons, every effort will be made to obtain refunds from suppliers, however no guarantees can be provided on their behalf.
- Change Fee
When the tour is booked and confirmed by the client it will be possible to make some changes (date or services) only 45 days before departing date. For any change there will be a charge of € 20,00. Any changes in prices, when new dates will be requested, will be calculated and the difference will be charged.
Tour packages do not include tipping for tour guide, driver, porters and hotel staff. In Italy tips are not obligatory but suggested according to your satisfaction.
Meals are based on the hotel's or restaurant's set menu. In general, beverages and meals are not included, unless specifically stated.
- Hotels Accommodation
Hotels will be provided in accordance with the itinerary or similar. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations. All rooms are double-bedded rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. Special requests such as, smoking preference and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel's management on a run-of-house basis. Triple rooms (where available) consist of double beds plus a sofa/folding bed or cot for third person. Hotel check-in time is generally not before 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is usually prior to noon.
- Not Included
All personal items such as laundry, wines, mineral water, beverages, coffee, tea, meals , other than described in the tour details or/and any other service not described as included.
- Passenger Information
Passengers are responsible to ensure that Dragonfly Tours has the correctly spelled name, address, email and fax data for all passengers. Names printed on the invoice must exactly match the first and last name written in their passport (middle names or initials are not needed). Dragonfly Tours will not be responsible for passengers who do not receive an invoice or documents due to inaccurate information.
Your tour documents including: tour confirmation voucher and all other related information will be sent by e-mail approximately two weeks prior to the services provided and full payments has been received. Please provide a complete street address. One set of documents will be e-mailed per reservation and not per person.
- Customer Service
All customer service issues and refund requests must be submitted in writing and received no later than 15 days after your return. Refunds are subject to a processing fee of € 50 plus deposit and any hotel and/or supplier charges incurred.

The following statement discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for Dragonfly Tours will not disclose or sell any of your personal information, including your name, address, credit-card number, shopping, or transaction history to any third party except as to what may be required by law.
Dragonfly Tours strong advocate of permission marketing. This means you will only receive information about vacations that you have told us you want to receive.

We send all new members a welcoming email. Existing members will occasionally receive information on tour products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our customers, we present the option to not receive these types of communications
- Legal responsibilities
Dragonfly Tours, its affiliates, and their employees, officers, directors and shareholders (herein, collectively, “Dragonfly Tours”) does not own or operate any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your trip, including, for example, lodging facilities, airline, vessel, bus, taxi or other transportation companies, local ground or tour operators, visa processing services, providers or organizers of optional excursions, food service or entertainment providers, etc. All such persons and entities are independent contractors.
As a result, Dragonfly Tours is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity, or of any third party.
Without limitation, Dragonfly Tours is not responsible for any injury, loss or damage to person or property, death, delay or inconvenience in connection with the provision of any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from but not limited to acts of God, force majeure, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, strikes or other labor activities, criminal, terrorist or threatened terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, structural or other defective conditions in lodging facilities (or in any heating, plumbing, electrical or structural problem therein), mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation or for any failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart timely, dangers associated with animals, sanitation problems, food poisoning, epidemics or the threat thereof, disease, lack of access to or quality of medical care, difficulty in evacuation in case of a medical or other emergency, or for any other cause beyond the direct control of Dragonfly Tours. Travelers who have been removed from their tour waive the right to a refund of any part of the fee. Dragonfly Tours may send the traveler home at the traveler’s own expense. Dragonfly Tours are not for resale, and travelers must enroll directly with Dragonfly Tours. No warranties, representations or waiver of these Terms & Conditions apply to any tour unless expressly stated within these Terms & Conditions.
