Close your eyes and imagine a romantic and elegant 4-star hotel in the heart of Venice, just around the corner from St. Mark’s Square. You’re in the eighteenth century, in the middle of one of Europe’s most sophisticated cities, at the height of the Venetian Republic’s cultural expression: you’re coming out of a charming alleyway and cross a private bridge to an elegant historical residence, the Hotel Ca’ dei Conti. In the romantic intimacy that only certain secret corners of Venice can create, you settle down on the terrace, sip a drink and dreamily stare over the canal which, leisurely flowing like your imagination, reflects the mood of your private moment. In the evening reach on your own the restaurant in the charming Castello neighborood where you will have a typically Venetian dinner in a really wonderful location. After dinner you will have free time at leisure. Overnight in Venice.

Day 2 – Venice Walking tour and “cicchetti” tasting

After breakfast meet your personal guide at the hotel and start a perfect tour for those who want to know the history of Venice starting from the most important site of the city: Saint Mark’s Square. The tour consists of a visit of Saint Mark’s Square and the explanation of its main monuments: Basilica (inside), Doge’s Palace (outside), Bridge of Sighs, Clock Tower, Bell Tower. After this historical tour your guide will bring you to discover the “Enogastronomic” Venice. Throughout the tour you will make some appetizing stops, enabling you to sample "cicchetti" (classic Venetian appetizers) made with the best ingredients found in the city accompanied by well-known wines. A gastronomic and historical tour of this wonderful ancient city on the lagoon; perfect for those who want their journey to be a unique, unforgettable experience. After this tour your guide will accompany you to the “stazio” where you will get you private gondola for your romantic ride! After the 30 minutes ride you will have the rest of the day at your free disposal. Overnight in Venice.

Day 3 – Venice / Verona walking tour and lunch / Bologna

After breakfast and check out, meet at your hotel your private water chauffeur who will transfer you to the meeting point with your driver. He will accompany you to the wonderful Verona where you will meet your private guide and begin your visit. Your English speaking guide will tell you all about the wonders of this charming city. The archetypal city of romance, thanks to Shakespeare and his characters Romeo and Juliet, you will witness one of the town’s greatest monuments and symbols, Verona’s ancient Arena. Known as one of the greatest creations of Roman recreational architecture, today it is a sight that cannot be missed, in particular during the summer months when its celebrated Opera Festival takes place, featuring numerous local and international musicians and singers. As well as the traditional tourist sights, our expert guide will also ensure you see some of Verona’s lesser known but very intriguing places of interest, such as the Church of San Fermo Maggiore, where according to tradition the saints Fermo and Rustico underwent martyrdom. At the end of the tour you will meet again your driver for a direct transfer to your hotel in Bologna: Aemilia Hotel 4****. Modern and elegant, a few minutes' walk from the heart of the town and close to the Sant'Orsola Hospital, the historical centre and the University District, the Aemilia Hotel fascinates its guests thanks to its marvellous views of the Towers of Bologna and the hills of Bologna. Located in an excellent position, from where you can reach Piazza Maggiore and the historical centre in a few minutes' walk, it is easy to reach both by car and by public transport.
