Upon arrival at Naples airport, you will be greeted by your personal English speaking  driver and will be transferred to your hotel in Sorrento : Hotel Corallo 4****. 

Day 1Naples: Arrival

Check in at the hotel and rest of the day at your leisure

 

Day 2 – full day tour in Capri with private boat

Breakfast in hotel.  On this day, you will have the chance to enjoy the splendid sea surrounding the strip of land that is the Sorrentina Peninsula and discover the secrets of the Island of Capri. Your personal driver will meet you at the hotel and will transfer you to the port where you will embark on your private boat with private English speaking Skipper and  will be ready to enjoy a wonderful excursion on the sea.

During the journey you are able to breathe in the healthy brackish sea water while admiring the gorgeous Sorrento Coast. Only a boat trip among the most beautiful views of the island, many of which are inaccessible on land, can offer a complete visit of Capri. By boat, in fact, you can reach small hidden coves where you can  swim or get a suntan and enjoy the full the beauty of the island.

The excursion includes the trip around the island so to appreciate at its best the beautiful sceneries, like the Faraglioni Rocks, the numerous caves like the White Grotto, the Emerald Grotto and the Blue Grotto, famous all over the world for its intense azure color, “Tiberius’s Leap”, where, according to legend, the Roman emperor used to throw down to the rocks disobedient servants and unwelcome guests. Transfer back to the port of Sorrento with your private boat.  Once arrived at the harbor of Sorrento you will meet your driver, who will transfer back to your hotel.

 

Day 3- Full day tour Amalfi coast

Breakfast in hotel. Then, you will be ready, together with your private English speaking driver, for  exploring the enchanting route of the “Divine Coast”: along the way, you will have stops for panoramic viewpoint to make some breathtaking pictures. Then, you will have time to discover and relax on the top of Positano, a small village with Mediterranean styled pure white houses with bougainvillea plants that cover part of the facades. On the way to Amalfi, you will visit a Ceramic shop in Conca dei Marini. At the end of your visit, your driver will bring you to the nearby Amalfi, one of the oldest maritime republics. Lunch will be at a well-known traditional restaurant in Amalfi where you will sample a delicious meal prepared by the chef with the freshest ingredients. Soon after, you will enjoy a tour of the town and admire the magnificent and imposing facade of the cathedral of Saint Andrea with her unique Arab Norman and Romanesque Style. Later, your driver will escort you to Ravello for relaxing moments on the picturesque square where you will admire the magnificent panorama who inspired poets, philosophers and beauty lovers of any time.  Then, you will have a final transfer to your hotel for your overnight.

 

Day 4– Sorrento/ Capri

After breakfast and check out,  you will meet your private driver at the hotel in Sorrento for a direct transfer to the harbor.

You will embark on the public ferry boat for a transfer to Capri (approx. 30 minutes). During the journey you  will be  able to breathe in the healthy brackish sea water while admiring the gorgeous Sorrento Coast. After the arrival in Capri, you will meet your personal English speaking driver for a direct transfer to your hotel: Hotel Relais Maresca 4****.  We will reserve for you:  1 double superior room with sea view and balcony.

Check in in hotel and rest of the day at you leisure.

 

Day 5– half day tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your personal English speaking guide at the hotel and start your walking tour. You will discover the main town Capri full of narrow shopping streets and take a coffee by the famous and elegant square “Piazzetta”, walk through the Gardens of Augustus and enjoy the view from the Belvedere to take a photo of the famous natural landmark of the island, the sea stacks called “Faraglioni”. At the end of the tour you will have the rest of the day at leisure.

 

Day 6– Capri/Positano

Breakfast in hotel and check out. Meet your private driver for a transfer to the harbor where you will get your fast public ferry to Positano. Here, at the harbor you will meet the porters  and will reach together the nearby  Hotel Buca di Bacco 4****.  We will reserve for you:  1 double classic room with sea view.  Check in in hotel and rest of the day at you leisure.

 

Day 7- Positano/Path of Gods/Positano

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your private English speaking driver who will escort you to the  starting point of the Path of Gods considered one of the most 'famous and picturesque routes in the world. It allows visitors to look from above Paradise. The trail starts from the Piazza Paolo Capasso Bomerano, fraction of Agerola. A sign near the church of St. Matthew gives information about the historical and cultural Path of the Gods and clearly indicates the direction to follow. From here on the evidence of the track and the presence of reports make it impossible to go wrong. The indications mark the distance at intervals of 100 meters.


Along the way you pass under the Biscuit Cave (588 m) where there is a source of drinking water and it can admire centuries-old cave houses set into the rock wall. After the location 'Colle Serra, opens a unique view on the Sorrento peninsula and on the' island of Capri. Once in Nocelle you can 'go right to Montepertuso and then (path no. 31A) to Positano; or to the left, going down 1700 steps, in about a 'now you get to Arienzo (Positano beach), on the road 163 Coast. Here you continue on foot (10 minutes) to Positano.

Rest of the day at your leisure. Dinner free and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 8– Positano – Full day Excursion along the Amalfi Coast with private motor yacht

Today, you will have the chance to enjoy the splendid sea surrounding the strip of land that is the Sorrentina Peninsula and discover its secrets. You will board at the Port of Positano. You will cruise the entire Amalfi Coast with your expert and qualified captain at your full disposal to explain the Campania region’s fascinating history.

Along the way you will enjoy the Italian village views of Amalfi, Maiori, Atrani, Ravello, Marmorata, Santa Croce beach, the Lover’s Arch, Vettica di Amalfi, Conca dei Marini, the Emerald Grotto or Grotta dello Smeraldo, Furore Fjord, the twin-mountain town of Praiano, Marina di Praia, La Gavitella, Arienzo, Positano, Nocelle and Montepertuso.

Your captain will introduce you to the legendary Li Galli Islands, famous in Greek mythology for the three enchanting sirens who lured sailors to the shore with magical song.  You can stop and drop anchor where you desire and dive directly from the boat into the crystal clear sea.You will have the opportunity to disembark in Amalfi for as long as you desire. Day 6– Polignano a Mare/Alberobello, Ostuni & oil tasting experience with lunch

After breakfast at your hotel, you will  meet your private English speaking guide at the hotel and driver to Alberobello and enjoy a walking tour of the city. You will discover the town of Alberobello, famous for its unique Trulli constructions. Alberobello is the world capital of Trulli and UNESCO World Heritage Site. A Trullo  is a traditional Apulian dry-stone hut with a conical roof. Their style of construction is specific to the Itria Valley, in the Murge area of Apulia. Your guide will let you discover all the secrets and legends of those fascinating typical Apulian buildings, learn the meaning of decorative symbols on cones. Here, you will find Trulli of different sizes in various shades of gray and will be able to get a closer look at stone construction of these houses. You will discover when and why the trulli were first built and how they have become the unique symbol of the Itria Valley. The tour will continue in the Rione Monti district, made lively and colorful by the presence of many shops. Here are more picturesque groups of Trulli, among which you will be able to spot a unique one - Chiesa a trullo di Sant’Antonio, the only Trullo church.

At the end of the tour you will reach Masseria il Frantoio, for an oil tasting experience and a delicious light lunch.

After lunch, together with your personal guide, you will drive to Ostuni, a splendid city 8 km from the Adriatic coast. Its Old Town is a citadel built on top of a hill and still fortified by the ancient walls. Ostuni is regarded as an architectural jewel, and is commonly referred to as "the White City" ("La Città Bianca", in Italian) for its white walls, striking alleys, and its typically white-painted architecture. At the end of your tour drive back to your hotel. Rest of the day at your leisure.

 

Day 7– Alberobello/Poligano a Mare/Lecce

After breakfast you can visit this small town at leisure. A striking town located on the Adriatic Sea. Native city of the world known first Italian songwriter Domenico Modugno for his international hit song "Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu (Volare)”. Its Old Town is on cliffs overlooking the sea, where balconies and flowered tiny streets offer a truly poetic and emotional scenery. The area was settled since prehistoric times and remains of the Roman domination include the bridge on the Via Traiana. Polignano was awarded the Blue Flag, certification by the FEE, for its high environmental and water quality standards. Lunch at leisure. After lunch drive to your hotel in the center of the beautiful Lecce: Hotel Torre del Parco – Dimora Storica 1419 4****. We will reserve for you 1 Double superior room. Day 8– Lecce – guided walking tour of the historical center – 3 hours

After breakfast meet your private English speaking guide at your hotel. Today you will visit the historical center of Lecce and discover the history and art of the Florence of Southern Italy.

You will discover a city that since the Renaissance is literally covered with art. It is the religious fervor of the counterreformation to transform the face of Lecce, the seat of the most powerful religious orders who engage generations of stonemasons for centuries to glorify themselves and the Church triumphant through redundant architecture and excessive authentic ephemeral glory.

You will admire Piazza del Duomo: imposing as a fortress but decorated like an embroidery thanks to the warm colors of the famous local stone. The square form an authentic backdrop born to amaze the visitor where the eye is deceived by an abundant decoration. In the same square there are the majestic facades of the Cathedral, the Bishop’s Palce and the seminary and in the end the high bell tower which dominates all, the square and the city. Continue to the Church of St. Irene first patron of Lecce to arrive in Piazza Sant’Oronzo ancient heart of the city center, gutted in ’900 to unearth a Roman amphitheater dating from the second century BC of the few traces of Roman Lupiae. Continuing the walk in the old town you will reach the Church of San Matteo Baroque shapes but still full of innovative solutions. After seeing the Roman theater, the tour continues with a visit to the castle to finally arrive to admire the Basilica of Santa Croce masterpiece and symbol of the Lecce-baroque, built in about 150 years during the Spanish domination. After the tour spend the rest of the day at your own disposal.

 

Day 9– Lecce/Otranto & Gallipoli – 9 hours approx

Breakfast at your hotel. Meet your private guide and start an interesting excursion exploring the Salento.

Drive to Otranto, where you will know its Greek, Roman, and Byzantine history and see the major a

ttractions of the city with your private English speaking guide. Marvel at the Norman cathedral with its mosaic floor, see the bones of the Martyrs of Otranto, and more. Described as the “Gateway to the East” and the most Oriental of all Italy’s cities, Otranto was founded by Greeks from Crete thousands of years ago.

Discover the Norman cathedral, consecrated in 1088 and still the largest Romanesque building in Apulia. Admire the mosaic floor, formed of thousands of pieces of stone that depict scenes from the Old Testament and figures from Breton legends. Admire columns that are said to have come from a Temple of Minerva, and the bones and relics of the Martyrs of Otranto, who perished in the 15th-century siege of the city. Marvel at the 42 marble columns that support the crypt, and more.

Continue to the Church of St. Peter and the Aragonese Castle, reinforced by Emperor Frederick II and rebuilt by Alphonso II of Naples in 1485-1498. Look at the irregular plan of 5 sides, with a moat that runs along the entire perimeter.

 

Day 10- Departure

After breakfast and check out drive to Brindisi airport (30 minute drive approx.) to drop off your car and take your flight to Rome. Check in and lunch at leisure.

In the afternoon you will meet your private English speaking guide and get ready for an amazing walking tour. Day 1 - Venice/ Venice Airport

Day 2 - Venice Half day walking tour of Venice highlights and cicchetti tasting

You will meet your English speaking guide directly at the lobby of your hotel. This is the perfect tour for those who want to know the history of Venice starting from the most important site of the city: Saint Mark’s Square. Entering in San Marco square by the two monumental columns in front of the lagoon (the so-called “water square”), near the Bridge of Sighs, suddenly we can admire the history of the Republic of Venice displayed: we can visit the Doge’s Palace, seat of government and center of political and administrative life of the city, the Basilica, with its golden mosaics and precious marbles, the Clock Tower and the Bell Tower. The walk then leads to the Grand Canal and to the famous Rialto Bridge through beautiful and hidden corners. Day 3 - Venice/ Bellagio Lake Como

After your breakfast and check-out, you will meet your personal driver and private water taxi for a transfer to Piazzale Roma and departure, by private car, to Bellagio. Check in at your Hotel Bellagio 3**** and rest of the day at your leisure to stroll around and start to appreciate this beautiful lake resort. Overnight at Hotel Bellagio The rooms in the Bellagio hotel provide romantic views over the downtown rooftops and picturesque streets. Some of the rooms also offer a splendid view over Lake Como.

Day 4 – Bellagio Boat tour

After breakfast you will enjoy a beautiful private boat ride and while sailing on the lake you will admire the several beautiful villas and natural landscapes that only Lake Como can offer, such as Villa Balbianello and Villa Melzi. Villa Balbianello is a beautiful 16th century residence that is under the ownership of the FAI (the Italian Foundation for the Environment) since 1988. This villa has been chosen also for some scenes included in the 17th movie of the 007James Bond saga: ‘Casinò Royal’ of 2006 by Martin Campbell. Villa Melzi called Villa Gallarati Scotti, was formerly of the Melzi Family. This building with neoclassical features was built between 1810 and 1815 and designed by G. Albertolli. Day 5 - Bellagio/Milan/Cinque Terre

After breakfast and check out you will leave Bellagio for direct transfer to Milan where you will meet your private guide for a 3 hours tour of this city, including the famous dome of Milan and the must-see spots of the city , Teatro alla Scala (from outside) .Milan has always been a rich and important city. It offers variety of churches, buildings and monuments as well as many historic palazzos like the Royal Palace situated in the south side of Piazza Duomo. Day 6 - Discovering the Cinque Terre

After breakfast meet your personal English speaking guide at your hotel to start a full day guided visit to discover the beauties of this part of the region. The Ligurian Coast is a masterpiece of nature that offers its visitors unique and breathtaking vistas; here you will find five little “jewels” or hills - the Cinque Terre - the true “jewels” of the Mediterranean sitting along a rugged portion of coast on the Italian Riviera. On today’s tour you will be chauffeured in a luxury car by your personal driver to the idyllic village of Monterosso: the most populated of the five Cinque Terre villages, it is situated in the center of this small natural bay. Take time to explore, before continuing your journey to Vernazza, nestled in a breathtaking inlet whose shoreline features classic cultivated terraced grapevines. Next, perched atop a rock (or promontory) 90 meters high, you will visit the only hill of the Cinque Terre that is not directly adjacent to the sea: Corniglia. Here you will pause briefly to enjoy lunch on your own, and experience the incredible panoramic vistas beyond the area’s stunning terraced vineyards. The tour continues after lunch on to Manarola: a region characterized by its colorful houses facing the sea, and its small intertwining streets connected by a network of stairways that lead to the little village. Your English speaking guide will lead you to the famous Uffizi Gallery which houses a superb collection of priceless art, originating in great part from the Medici family collection, enriched over the centuries by endowments, exchanges and donations, among which an important group of religious works stands out, resulting from the suppression of the monasteries and convents between the XVIII and XIX centuries. Here, you will find the richest collection in the world of works of the Tuscan school, Florentine in particular, among which: Cimabue, Michelangelo, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci and Raffaello. Day 10 – Florence /Siena /Cortona

On this day, after breakfast and check out of the hotel, we will drive southbound towards Siena, escorted by our private English speaking driver on a full day journey to discover the beauties of the Tuscan city of Siena. You will meet your personal English speaking guide in the city center of Siena and begin your tour. The history of this small and unique city will be expertly illustrated, allowing you to open your heart as if you were a true inhabitant of Siena. You will discover the Magnificent Piazza del Campo where , twice a year (2 July and 16 August) an event , that every citizen of Siena looks forward to , takes place : the Palio di Siena. You will learn about the history of the Contrade (ancient Sienese name for neighborhood) and visit the famous Duomo but also other monuments of the city. PM At the end of the visit you will have lunch in a nice and typical restaurant in the city centre with a stunning view over the city. A lovely mountaintop town straddling Tuscany and Umbria. Cortona is a very well preserved Etruscan town, which belonged to the “dodecapolis” of the 12 main Etruscan cities. Today, it’s possible to see the original city walls dating back to 5th century B.C. You can also visit a very interesting Etruscan Academy displaying bronzes, vases and other objects from the Etruscan era. You will have free time to explore Cortona’s main attractions, including churches, museums, and the shopping area of Via Nazionale. Then, we will head to Le Celle is referred to as "Santuario Le Celle" or "Convento delle Celle" (Convent of the cells). Outside the walls of Cortona , through the woods to an amazing complex of stark beige buildings spilling down the slopes of Monte Sant' Edigio. Saint Francis founded the monastery in the early 13th century, preaching here in 1211. Locals and pilgrims alike find great spiritual inspiration from visiting Saint Francis' spartan cell with its stone bed and wooden pillow. There is a church and a small store on the property. Actually, this area is very special because stays near to three important lakes: Trasimeno (of Cortona), Chiusi and Montepulciano Lake; and also close to a great quality water source called Vivo – this the main source that supplies Siena nowadays. Pienza is also the capital city of the “Pecorino” – sheep cheese, and organizes every year, on the second Sunday of September, the “Fiera del Cacio” or the Festival of the local sheep cheese. The milk is particularly aromatic because the configuration of the clayey land where many aromatic herbs grow, and sheep all freely grazed, producing a perfumed milk and cheese. Pienza Pecorino cheese has the D.O.P. European label (which means a Protected Origin Denomination). Pienza Pecorino cheese and Brunello di Montalcino are undoubtely a perfect match!!!! Day 13 – Cortona/Civita di Bagnoregio/Rome

Breakfast and check our from your hotel to proceed then towards Civita di Bagnoregio accompanied by your private English speaking driver with minivan. This is a small town of Lombard origins, where you will enjoy a wonderful lunch in one of the most well-known restaurants in the area. It is a family run cheese factory: here, during the day you will discover all the secret how they make the Fresh Mozzarella every day since 1940. You will enjoy: - how they produce the best cheeses Sorrento has to offer. - practical demonstration of how they create mozzarella from the simple cow’s milk - final tasting of all own specialties in their welcoming tasting room : mozzarella, caciocavallo, provolone del monaco and caciotta. After breakfast meet your personal English speaking driver for a full day tour along the Amalfi Coast. He will drive you to the enchanting route of the “Divine Coast”: along the way, you will have stops for panoramic viewpoint to make some breathtaking pictures. Then, you will have free time to discover and relax on the top of Positano, a small village with Mediterranean styled pure white houses with bougainvillea plants that cover part of the facades. On the way to Amalfi, you will visit a Ceramic shop in Conca dei Marini. At the end of your visit, your driver will bring you to the nearby Amalfi, one of the oldest maritime republics. You will meet your private English speaking guide and together, you will reach the port, by public taxi, and embark on the Ferry boat to Capri. During the journey, you will be able to breathe in the healthy brackish sea water while admiring the gorgeous Sorrento Coast. Upon arrival, together with your guide, you will enjoy a private tour of the island and admire its beautiful sceneries, like the Faraglioni Rocks, the numerous  caves like the  Blue Grotto, famous all over the world for its intense azure color, “Tiberius’s Leap”, where, according to legend, the Roman emperor used to throw down to the rocks disobedient servants and unwelcome guests. Day 7– Rome: Ancient Rome Tour

After breakfast, meet your private English speaking driver and personal English speaking guide and reach the Ancient part of the town: the Colosseum and Roman Forum. With direct access to this remarkable landmark and no waiting in long lines, you will be awestruck even before entering. Once inside, your personal guide will bring to life the ancient world of the various emperors, noblemen, aristocrats, gladiators and wild beasts that once populated this building. You will then be accompanied to the nearby Roman Forum, known as the "heart" of ancient Rome, and the commercial, political and religious center. After the visit, rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 9– Rome to Florence & PM Tour of Florence & Accademia Gallery

After breakfast and check out at the hotel. You will  meet your private English speaking driver and transfer by private luxury car to the railway station in Rome. You will arrive in about 1 hour in Florence. Upon arrival, you will meet your personal English speaking driver and direct transfer to your hotel: Monnalisa 4****.  We will reserve for you: 1 double superior room. Check in at the hotel and time to rest.  In the afternoon, you will meet your private English speaking guide and get ready for a pleasant walking tour of Florence. You will have the opportunity to observe up close the priceless Dome (Duomo) by Brunelleschi, the largest brick dome in the world, stretching protectively over the Florence Cathedral. You will also see its splendid bell tower: the famous Campanile of Giotto. Your walking will leads you to the Accademia Gallery Museum where the more symbolic work of Michelangelo is housed: Il David, an expression of beauty and physical perfection. It also has other sculptures by Michelangelo and a collection of Renaissance paintings: you will admire also the “Il Ratto delle Sabine” by Giambologna (The Rape of the Sabine Women), as well as “La Madonna ed il Bambino” (Madonna and Child) and “la Madonna del Mare” (Madonna of the Sea) by Botticelli. End of the tour and rest of the day at your leisure.

 

Day 10– Florence: Half day Tour to Pisa

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your private English speaking l driver and get ready to discover the town of Pisa. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your personal English speaking guide: the tour starts from the central Piazza Dei Miracoli, famous for its Leaning Tower and for the many beautiful architectural structures that distinguish this city.

From here, you will have time to explore this small city with your guide and discover the many aspects of this fascinating town, named after a Greek city, from which it is believed originated the first inhabitants. A town, who thanks to its Tower, has become a symbol in Italy and in the world. It has  also fascinated many film directors that have chosen it as a set location for their films. It is so evocative and characteristic, that it has been proposed as one of the seven modern wonders of the world. End of the tour and transfer back to your hotel in Florence.

 

Day 11– Florence: Oil, Cheese and Wine in the Chianti

After breakfast, you will meet your private English speaking driver at your hotel and transfer towards the Chianti area. The first producers of oil in the Chianti Classico zone tried to use the reputation of the existing brand name, which they had developed through wine production, to produce and sell an oil which was not of a high quality. Today however, this attitude has changed. The producers have gained expert knowledge and they have started to produce very high quality oil. The olive trees are alternated with wine plants and are mainly grown on the higher hills.

It’s really interesting to walk through the old wine routes and to discover some true jewels of oil production. You will arrive in Greve where you will have a private guided tour of the market square and you Will visit the artisanal food shops. Then, your driver will transfer you to a famous winery that produces a special “Chianti classico wine”. You will visit the wine cellar of the farm and taste their wines. Lunch will be reserved for you in a typical Tuscan Restaurant located in a tiny mediaeval village in the enchanting hills of Chianti: you will discover the finest delights of Tuscan cuisine and enjoy the peace and quiet of a garden located deep in the green, with cypress trees and splendid vineyards all around. Day 12– Florence to Venice

Day 13– Venice: Walking tour with Private Gondola Ride with Cicchetti tasting

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your personal English speaking guide and start a perfect tour for those who want to know the history of Venice starting from the most important site of the city: Saint Mark’s Square. The tour consists of a visit of Saint Mark’s Square and the explanation of its main monuments: Basilica (inside), Doge’s Palace (from outside), Bridge of Sighs, Clock Tower, Bell Tower. After this historical tour, your guide will accompany you to the meeting point with your gondolier: we will reserve for you a unique Gondola Ride with a food experience. The tour will start in Rio di San Polo and from here, you will explore the jewels of this undiscovered corners, with its numerous Palazzi and noble families’ homes constructed in diverse architectural styles. Day 1 - Palermo: ARRIVAL DAY

Day 2 - Food Market, Cooking class & Palermo Tour

This morning you will tour the Capo Market with a Duchess in a fascinating exploration of Sicilian culture and cuisine. The itinerary begins with a morning visit to the Capo market, the oldest in Palermo, where we will purchase fresh seasonal ingredients, chosen from the colorful stalls featuring an abundance of fruit, vegetables, seafood and meats as the sellers’ cries bid for our attention. Following the market tour, you will go with the Duchess to her seaside Palazzo (Palace) for a hands on cooking lesson. Lunch will be served with the Duchess and her husband the Duke). After lunch they will take you through the splendor of the exquisite and beautifully restored 18th century palazzo by the sea. This was the last home of Prince Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, author of the world-famous novel “The Leopard”. During the afternoon meet you guide to visit Palermo and Monreale. Palermo, stretches along a beautiful bay on the Tyrrhenian Sea. Founded by the Phoenicians in the 7th and 8th centuries B.C., it was conquered by Arabs in 831, and a period of immense prosperity commenced. The city’s wide boulevards, traditional Sicilian Old Quarter, and baroque palaces’ll enchant you. We will visit the Royal Palace and the twelfth-century Duomo (Cathedral). Then drive to Monreale to admire the wonderful Cloister. Return at hotel and overnight stay.

Day 3– Segesta - Erice (B, Pastry Tasting)

In the morning, we will head to Segesta, for the guided Tour of the Temple and the Tether. You will continue to Erice, a magical, medieval town perched atop Monte San Giuliano overlooking the city of Trapani, the Egadi Islands and the famous saltpans where sea salt is made. The views from this mountain top village are breathtaking, and on a clear day, you can see the African coast. Visit the Norman Castle and Duomo as you walk through the cobble-stoned streets of the town, taking in the fresh air and a variety of aromas emanating from the numerous pastry shops for which Erice is known. In fact, we will stop to visit Maria Grammatico’s famous pastry shop to see the variety of sweets she lovingly creates. After visit return in Palermo. Overnight stay in Palermo

Day 4– Regaleali Estate and Valley of The Temples (B, L)

Breakfast and check out. Leave to Regaleali Estate, the famous estate of the Tasca d’Almerita family located in the center of the island. Eight generations of the Tasca family have been involved in the creation of some of Italy’s best wines from 500 hectares of land in the heart of Sicily. The Tasca family will host us for three nights at their historic estate where they lavish care on their guests by sharing their history, wine, and authentic Sicilian cuisine. Lunch with wine tasting and visit of the estate and winery . After lunch will transfer to Agrigento to admire the superb archaeological park, the Valley of the Temples. If there is one thing to see in all of Sicily, Agrigento’s stunning temples would be it. Private guided tour of the Valley of the Temples. Day 5– Sicily and Modica (B, L, Chocolate tasting)

Breakfast in hotel and depart towards the Baroque area of Sicily, whose heritage, both for importance and for beauty, has been de-clared World Heritage by UNESCO. Arrival in Scicli and visit at GLI AROMI Farm with the owner Enrico. From over 10 years “GLI AROMI” deals with the production and marketing of officinal plants and aromatic herbs, focusing on endemic species of the Sicilian coast and in particular of the Iblean area. The firm produces more than 120 different varieties using traditional methods; the workmanship of the herbs still happens manually, all in a unique contest, made of exiting perfumes in a magnificent view. Even Andy Luotto has been comed to visit them… The tour includes a ride in the firm illustrating all the varieties of the herbs and their possible using. Lunch and tasting at farm. In the afternoon transfer to Modica, where admire picturesque lanes and arrows streets, with plenty of old workshops, St. George’s Church, the only one including a nave and as good as four aisles. You will visit the oldest confectionary shop of Sicily and taste the very famous chocolate of Modica. Meeting with the owner Pierpaolo Ruta to discover the secrets of Modican Chocolate. The chocolate of Modica is special and very particular because of the lack of cacao butter, the only ingredients are cacao and sugar. Day 6– Siracusa (B, L)

Breakfast in hotel and meet your guide for a Tour of Siracusa that was the most important Greek cities of antiquity and a formidabile seafaring power nearly equal to Athens. In the heyday of its power, it dared to take on both Carthage and Rome. At one time, its wealth and size were unmatched by any other city in the ancient world, and today it is one of the richest historical sites in Europe. We’ll see remarkable Greek and Roman ruins, including the cave called “The Ear of Dionysius,” because of its unusual shape, resembling a human ear. Finally we will enjoy the elegant island of Ortigya, where we will admire the architectural splendour of ancient medieval streets, baroque structures, and classic churches as the Duomo, built upon the old temple of Athena A very special lunch tasting of typical Sicilian products (salumi, cheese and caponata) will be served in a historic delicatessen. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy shopping (transfer not included during the afternoon). Overnight stay in Syracusa.

Day 7— Catania and Cyclops Coast (B)

We will depart to Catania situated between the Ionian Sea and the looming bulk of Mount Etna, which every so often rains ash upon the streets. The town was rebuilt in the Baroque style, and it was during this era that many of the town’s finest buildings were constructed. You will visit the ebullient Pescheria, (the daily fish and vegetable market). Then we visit the towns of Acireale, and Aci Castello, with its Medieval Norman Castle built in 1076 on a prehistoric basalt lava terrace. Here we will admire the Rocks of the Cyclops, imposing, spiky shards of black lava that rise up from the water. It is here, as told in Homer’s Odyssey, that the Cyclops Polyphemus threw these rocks at the fleeing Ulysses, who had blinded him. This afternoon we will arrive in Taormina, accommodation at The Ashbee Hotel 5*in Superior room and overnight stay.

Day 8– Free day in Taormina

Check out and leave to Taormina. Time at Leisure in Taormina Sicily’s most famous city. Dating from the fourth and third centuries B.C.,Taormina is perched dramatically high on a rocky promontory overlooking the Ionian Sea. It’s a charming medieval town with typical cobblestoned streets leading into spacious squares and the extraordinary classical Greco-Roman theatre and the historical centre. (services not included). Overnight stay in Taormina, sea view room.

Day 9- Taormina –Exclusive 500 Tour “Etna Wine Roads and

Taormina”

After breakfast your own Fiat 500 car will be waiting for you to start this memorable one day tour of Sicily. Sicily is famous all around the world for its wine production. In the last ten years, many Sicilian wines have won prestigious awards. Mt. Etna is well known as a wine production area due to his extremely fertile soil since the 8th century BC when the first Greek settlers arrived. Follow your tour leader car to discover the Etna wine roads. You will drive a fantastic Classic Convertible Fiat 500 across the vineyards and cellars on the slopes of the highest volcano of Europe and enjoy the taste of Sicilian wines! Starting from Taormina / Giardini Naxos travel along roads secondary to reach the valley of Alcantara. After a brief tour of the Alcantara Gorges, the tour will continue through the villages of Castiglione di Sicilia and Lingfield. during the path will be made of the short stop to take some beautiful panoramic photographs. The tour will then continue through the "Wine Route": path you climbs from Lingfield until higher elevations of the volcano where you are most wineries of the place. Once in one of the finest wineries will make a short visit of the cellar and then we could taste the wines of the area accompanied by some typical local cuisine.
