Day 1 - Rome- Arrival
Arrival at Rome Fiumicino airport and meet your personal English speaking driver for a direct transfer to your hotel in Rome FortySeven 4****L. Check in at the hotel and rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 2 – Rome Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel
09,00 am Meet your English speaking driver at the lobby for direct transfer to Vatican Museum where your personal English speaking guide will be waiting to welcome you and guide for an inside visit. There are no queues and no waiting as your specialist guide introduces you to the masterpieces of such great painters as Raffaello, and Michelangelo. This is one of the greatest collections of art in the world, a collection gathered over the centuries by the Popes of the Catholic Church. You will be enthralled and enchanted by the stunning vision of the Sistine Chapel and also continuing on to the Cortile della Pigna ( "Court of the Pinecone" ) and the celebrated Raphael’s rooms, and finally direct access into Saint Peter's Basilica. After the tour your private driver will transfer you back to your hotel. You will then have the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel FortySeven.
Day 3 - Rome Colosseum and Imperial Fora
09,00 am Meet your English speaking guide and begin your private guided visit of the Ancient part of the Eternal city: Colosseum and Imperial Fora. Direct access to this remarkable landmark and no waiting in long lines; you will be awestruck even before entering. Once inside, your personal guide will bring to life the ancient world of the various emperors, noblemen, aristocrats, gladiators and wild beasts that once populated this building. You will then have the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel FortySeven.
Day 4 – Rome / Florence
Walking tour and Uffizi Gallery Breakfast in hotel and check out. Meet your private English speaking driver for a direct transfer to Rome Termini train station for departure to Florence. After 1 and 10minutes journey arrival at Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence where your private driver with car will collect you and transfer to your hotel degli Orafi 4****.
In the afternoon you will start your guided visit with your English speaking guide including the walking tour of the city and the inside visit at the Uffizi Gallery: a world famous museum which truly is a treasure chest of priceless works, many pieces originating from the historic collection of the Medici family and enriched over the course of centuries by generous legacies, exchanges and donations. You will find works from Cimabue, Michelangelo, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci and Raffaello, not to mention Botticelli, Mantegna, Parmigianino, Rubens, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Canaletto and many others… End of the walking tour and rest of your day at your own leisure. Overnight.
Day 6 – Florence / Venice
Breakfast in Hotel and check out. Meet your private English speaking driver for a direct transfer to Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence for departure to Venice where you will get in about 2 hours. Just outside the station meet your English speaking driver with your private taxi boat for a direct transfer to your hotel: Hotel Cà dei Conti 4****. Check in at hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight .
Day 7 – Venice
A unique day in the Lagoon city including dinner After breakfast meet your personal English speaking guide at the lobby and begin your walking tour. You will discover the Lagoon city, including the most famous Canals. Explore a wealth of hidden sights not normally granted to visitors of this spectacular city: while walking with your private guide around the city, you will discover an array of fascinating "campi" (squares), buildings and Venetian churches, which will reveal a lesser-known aspect of this incredible city. Allow yourselves to be soothed by the magical imperfection of the Venetian streets and cast under the spell of its evocative atmosphere. St. Mark's Basilica and its respective Piazza, the steamboat that passes through the Canal Grande, the Doge's Palace, and the notorious Market of Rialto will all be also included in your tour. At the end of the tour you will have the rest of the day at leisure. Before a unique tour of Venice by night. Your personal guide will be waiting for you at Ca de Conti at 7 p.m.
This will be quite different from the morning one, because you’ll discover another Venice, far from the crowd. You’ll learn about the mysteries and the dark stories of this incredible city. You’ll start at Saint Mark’s square, with the Clock’s tower ( the two clock makers were blinded because Government wish was not to create another copy) and looking for the spot for capital executions. You will take the Gondola for a fantastic tour in the venetian canals, with other incredible stories . After the gondola ride you’ll proceed for the Merceria, where you’ll listen the incredible story of Giustina Rossi, an old lady who stop a dangerous conspiracy; you’ll admire the strange facade of the church of Saint Zulian, full of cabbalistic symbols. Later you cross the Campo Lucatelli, well connected with a bloody story, and Campo della Fava, where a romantic ghost story was set.
You’ll cross the Rialto Bridge where you’ll learn about the story of the Devil and the child’s ghost. The tour will end at Erberia, where you will see the opposite Campiello del Remer, famous for an incredible ghost story with a man with his wife’s head. Dinner at fantastic restaurant Gondolieri, in front of the Rialto bridge. End of the tour and back to Hotel . Overnight at Hotel Cà dei Conti.
Day 8 – Venice / Departure
After breakfast t and check out your private water taxi will collect you from the hotel for a direct transfer to Venice Airport Marco Polo for departure back home.
